    摘要： A heat-developable light-sensitive material comprising a support having provided thereon a light-sensitive layer comprising a silver halide which is spectrally sensitized with at least one dye represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.0 and R.sub.1, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a halogen atom, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an acylamino group, an acyl group, a cyano group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a carboxyl group, or an acyloxy group; provided that at least one of R.sub.0 and R.sub.1 represents a group other than a hydrogen atom; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group; R.sub.3 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an acyl group, an acyloxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, or an acylamino group; provided that when R.sub.3 represents an aryl group, R.sub.0 and R.sub.1 each represents a group other than an aryl group; the group represented by R.sub.3 has a value of S of 544 or less wherein S is represented by formula (Z):S=3.536L-2.661B+535.4 (Z)wherein L represents the length of the group R.sub.3 along the axis of the bond between the group R.sub.3 and the center of the benzene nucleus to which the group R.sub.3 is connected, and B represents the smaller value of B.sub.1 +B.sub.4 and B.sub.2 +B.sub.3 wherein B.sub.1, B.sub.2, B.sub.3, and B.sub.4 each represents the width of the group R.sub.3 which are measured at their maximum points and perpendicular to said axis and each other, provided that B.sub.1 is the smallest value and B.sub.2, B.sub.3, and B.sub.4 are successively larger; R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group; X represents an anion; and n is 0 or 1, as required to satisfy charge balance.

At least one of device edge faces including edge faces of the organic nonlinear optical material is provided with a shielding layer for shielding the device edge face from ambient atmosphere, thereby to prevent the organic nonlinear optical material from sublimation and deterioration.

    摘要： A novel heat developable light-sensitive material is provided comprising a silver halide spectrally sensitized by a polymethine containing at least one basic nucleus wherein the dye contains, as a group for substituting nitrogen atoms in said basic nucleus, at least one of the groups represented by general formulae (A) and (B): ##STR1##--(CH.sub.2 --.sub.2 NHSO.sub.2 Rwherein m represents an integer of 1 or 2; Y represents an atomic group necessary for the formation of a cyclic imide group; and R represents a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group.In a preferred embodiment, the atomic group represented by Y is selected from the group consisting of a succinic acid imido group, a phthalic acid imido group, an orthobenzosulfimido group, and a maleimido group. The atomic group may be optionally substituted by a halogen atom, a nitro group, a carboxyl group, an acylamino group such as an acetylamino group, or an alkoxycarbonyl amino group such as an ethoxycarbonyl group.
