    摘要: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink (UL) grant (e.g., dynamic UL grant, UL configured grant (CG)) from a network, but may decide to skip the UL grant altogether or not transmit any user plane data on the UL grant. In such instances, the UE may maintain or expedite expiration associated with one or more timers (e.g., discontinuous reception (DRX) and bandwidth part (BWP) inactivity timers, secondary cell (SCell) deactivation timer, etc.). The UE may also maintain or expedite expiration associated with one or more timers if it receives downlink (DL) transmission (e.g., DL semi-persistent scheduling (SPS)) from the network that includes no user plane data.

    摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques that may help mitigate service loss for a UE (e.g., in DSDA mode) due to temperature rise. According to certain aspects, a UE detects, while operating in a multi subscriber identity module (SIM) mode with at least a first subscriber (SUB) and a second subscriber (SUB) active on a first radio access technology (RAT), that the UE has reached a first temperature threshold less than a second temperature threshold at which the UE limits service in the first RAT and greater than a third temperature threshold associated with a temperature mitigation level. The UE then takes action to move the first SUB to a second RAT in response to the detecting.

    摘要: In some aspects, the present disclosure provides methods, apparatuses, and systems for efficient thermal mitigation while maintaining wireless device performance on a primary component carrier (PCC). Embodiments described may include implementation of target transceiver module configurations, where bandwidth (e.g., PCC bands and secondary component carrier (SCC) bands) may be monitored by a wireless device based on intra-module target configurations and/or inter-module target configurations. An intra-module target configuration may include a target transceiver module monitoring both PCC bands and SCC bands. An inter-module target configuration may include or refer to a plurality of target transceiver modules together monitoring PCC bands and SCC bands. In scenarios where operating temperatures exceed temperature thresholds, target transceiver module configurations may be implemented to transition PCC bands, SCC bands, or both, from a PCC-resident transceiver module to another transceiver module to reduce the operating temperatures of concern. Various additional and alternative aspects are described herein.
