摘要: A user equipment (UE) transmits reference signals for positioning while in Idle or Inactive state. While in a connected state, the UE is pre-configured with Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource configuration including at least one of timing adjustment (TA) and an uplink (UL) transmission spatial filter. The UE transmits positioning SRS while in Idle or Inactive mode based on the pre-configuration. The TA and UL transmission spatial filter may be updated by a serving base station using control signals or a paging message received by the UE while in in Idle or Inactive mode. The validity of the TA and UL transmission spatial filter may be monitored using expiration timers or a relative position change threshold. The reference signals transmitted may be based on a UE may Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH), which is insensitive to TA changes. A long sequence PRACH may be used for improved positioning accuracy.

摘要: A parameter server located at a base station may coordinate federated learning among multiple user equipment (UEs) using over-the-air (OTA) aggregation with power control to mitigate aggregation distortion due to amplitude misalignment. The parameter server may select a first group of UEs for a first OTA aggregation session of a federated learning round based on a common received power property of each UE in the first group of UEs. The parameter server may transmit a global model to the first group of UEs. Each UE in the first group may train the global model based on a local dataset and transmit values associated with the trained local model. The parameter server may receive, on resource elements for the first group of UEs, a first aggregate amplitude modulated analog signal representing a combined response from the first group of UEs.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for frame based operation and medium contention procedures in wireless networks. In some aspects, devices of a wireless network may perform receiver side contention operations. To illustrate, reference signals from a receiving device may be transmitted to a transmitting device and used by the transmitting device to estimate interference for transmitter side transmissions. Such receiver side reference signals may more accurately reflect the interference profile that transmissions sent by the transmitting device will face, such as when operating in a spectrum shared with many devices. The transmitting device may utilize the beam(s) that satisfy interference criteria when receiving the reference signals to transmit data. Receiver side frame based operation may provide a more stable interference profile which enables better rate prediction, and the better rate prediction may increase reliability and overall network and medium throughput.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support backscatter-based positioning. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving a tag device indicator that indicates a tag capability of a tag device. The method also includes transmitting, to a first transmission/reception point (TRP) of a plurality of TRPs, a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration associated with a PRS, the PRS configuration based on the tag capability, the plurality of TRPs including the first TRP designated as a transmit (Tx) TRP and a second TRP designated as a receive (Rx) TRP. The method further includes receiving a measurement report from the second TRP based on a backscatter signal of the positioning reference signal transmitted by the first TRP. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) transmits, to a serving base station, in one or more active bandwidth parts (BWPs) of the UE, a request for a no-downlink-scheduling gap, the request including at least time-domain parameters related to scheduling the no-downlink-scheduling gap, receives, from a neighboring base station, in the one or more active BWPs, a downlink positioning reference signal (DL-PRS) during the no-downlink-scheduling gap, and transmits, in the one or more active BWPs, an uplink positioning reference signal (UL-PRS) during the no-downlink-scheduling gap in response to reception of the DL-PRS.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques allow a user equipment (UE) to efficiently identify a trigger state that is linked to a configuration for receiving and measuring reference signals from a transmission and reception point (TRPs). The UE may receive an indication of different lists of trigger states associated with different TRPs, and, when the UE receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating a trigger state index, the UE may reference an appropriate list to identify the trigger state corresponding to the trigger state index. In particular, the UE may determine a control resource set (CORESET) pool index of a CORESET in which the DCI is received, and the UE may identify the trigger state corresponding to the trigger state index from a list of trigger states associated with the CORESET pool index.

The wireless device may use transmitter-side only channel sensing to determine whether or not the spectrum is idle. The frame-based channel access mode may use a fixed frame period that includes an initial sensing period for beam-based sensing and an idle period at the end of the frame to facilitate spectrum sharing.
