    摘要: In an apparatus for processing reproduced color video signals composed of a frequency-modulated luminance component and a frequency-converted chrominance component having its carrier frequency substantially below a standard frequency therefor; there are provided a drop-out compensating circuit responsive to a drop-out in the luminance component for inserting, in the interval of such drop-out, an earlier occurring portion of the luminance component, a frequency-converter receiving the chrominance component and a frequency-reconverting signal for restoring the carrier frequency to the standard frequency therefor, an automatic frequency control circuit (AFC) responsive to horizontal synchronizing signals separated from the luminance component after the drop-out compensation thereof so as to regulate the frequency-reconverting signal in the sense for removing time base errors from the reproduced color video signals, and a circuit which is responsive to a drop-out in the luminance component for maintaining the frequency of the frequency-reconverting signal at a previously determined value during the drop-out so that the automatic frequency control operation will not be adversely affected by the drop-out compensation.

    摘要: In reducing crosstalk between the low frequency, frequency-converted chrominance portions of h-aligned video signals on adjacent tracks, the frequency converting carrier, but not the entire frequency converted portion, has its polarity inverted at the end of each line interval during the recording of alternate tracks but not during the recording of the remaining alternate tracks. This eliminates the extraneous signal that would otherwise be produced in the balanced modulator of the playback apparatus by any direct voltage offset or transient remanent of a direct voltage offset in the recorded signal.

    摘要: A filter circuit of the type utilizing a charge-transfer device, such as a bucket brigade device, comprises a clocking signal drive circuit for supplying a clocking signal; a clock signal generator at whose output a clocking control signal is provided; a transistor whose base is connected to the output of the clock signal generator; a plurality of successive capacitive storage stages for sequentially holding a charge level representing a time-sampled input signal, each of the capacitive storage stages having a clocking electrode for receiving the clocking signal so that the charge level is transferred from one to another of the capacitive storage stages in succession, and at least one of the capacitive storage stages being formed of first and second parallel-connected capacitive circuit portions, and the first and second capacitive circuit portions having respective clocking electrodes coupled to the clock signal generator and to the emitter of the transistor, respectively; and a current feedback circuit, such as a current mirror circuit, for detecting the current flowing through the collector of the transistor and applying a corresponding current to a capacitive storage stage in advance of that stage which is coupled to the emitter of the transistor.

    摘要: In apparatus for reproducing color video signals recorded in successive parallel tracks on a record medium with the chrominance components of video signals recorded in next adjacent tracks having first and second carriers which differ from each other in respect to their phases or polarity characteristics; and in which a plurality of transducers scan along the tracks one at a time so as to reproduce the video signals recorded in each of said tracks along with cross-talk signals from the tracks next adjacent thereto, means for separating said chrominance signal components from the luminance signal component in the reproduced signals, and a signal processing circuit including a switching circuit and a comb filter provides the separated chrominance components of video signals reproduced from each of said tracks with a common carrier and eliminates therefrom the chrominance components of the cross-talk signals on the basis of said different phases of the first and second carriers with which the chrominance components were recorded in the tracks which are next adjacent to each other: the changing-over of the switching circuit is controlled in response to the phase of the chrominance component carrier that results therefrom so as to ensure phase alignment of the common carrier with which the chrominance components of the video signals reproduced from the successive tracks are provided. Further, control signals are recorded on the record medium to identify those tracks in which video signals are recorded with their chrominance components having said first and second carriers, respectively, and, on reproducing, such identifying control signals are reproduced to control the movements of the transducers and, through such controlled movements, to regulate the changing-over of the switching circuit.

    摘要: A clamping circuit for color television signals includes a demodulator for demodulating the chrominance component of the color television signals to produce first and second color difference signals, and first and second adders for adding adjustable first and second control signals to the first and second color difference signals so as to produce modified first and second color difference signals. A matrix circuit is responsive to the outputs from the first and second adders to produce a third color difference signal. A reference signal, which represents a predetermined level of a color television signal, such as the pedestal level, is added to each of the color difference signals; and a first comparator compares the first color difference signal, with the reference signal added thereto, to the third color difference signal, with the reference signal added thereto, and a second comparator compares the second color difference signal, with the reference signal added thereto, to the third color difference signal, with the reference signal added thereto. At the times of occurrence of the pedestal level of the color television signal, the outputs from the first and second comparators are sampled, respectively, to produce the first and second control signals which are fed back and added to the first and second color difference signals.In one embodiment, the reference signal is a d.c. level proportional to the pedestal level of the color television signal. In another embodiment, the reference signal is the luminance component of the color television signal clamped to the pedestal level. This clamped luminance signal is produced by another clamp circuit.

    摘要: A clocking signal drive circuit supplies at least one clocking signal in a charge transfer device which has a plurality of successive capacitive storage elements for sequentially holding a charge level representing a time sampled input signal, with each of the capacitive storage elements having a clocking electrode for receiving one of a plurality of clocking signals so that the charge level representing the time sampled input signal is transferred from one to another of the capacitive storage means in succession in response to the clocking signals. The clocking signal drive circuit includes a clocking signal generator having an output at which the generator provides a clocking control signal, and a pair of complementary transistors each having first, second, and control electrodes, with the control electrode of the complementary transistors being connected together and to the output of the clocking signal generator and the first electrodes of the complementary transistors being connected together and to the clocking electrode of at least one of the capacitive storage elements. In one embodiment of the invention the clocking signal drive circuit functions as an output device for detecting the charge level on at least one of the capacitive storage elements of the charge transfer device, and further includes a detector for determining the amount of current which flows from the clocking signal drive circuit to the clocking electrode or electrodes to which it is connected.
