摘要: The resin-coated metal sheet is composed of: a metal sheet; a lower resin layer containing a hydrophilic copolyester, formed on at least one side of the metal sheet; and an upper resin layer containing a polyester containing a diol component composed of a diol derivative of 1 to 10% by mole of alicyclic compound and 99 to 90% by mole of ethylene glycol, and a dicarboxylic acid component consisting of terephthalic acid, formed on the lower resin layer. The sum of cyclic trimer of alkylene terephthalate existing in the upper resin layer and the lower resin layer is 0.9% or less by mass. Since the manufacture of food cans using the resin-coated metal sheet does not induce white haze phenomenon and retort blushing phenomenon on outer surface of the can even after retorting, the decorative appearance on outer surface of the can is not deteriorated.

摘要: The resin-coated metal sheet has: a metal sheet; a lower polyester resin layer having 0.03 or smaller plane orientation factor and 5 to 20 μm of thickness, being formed on at least one side of the metal sheet; and an upper polyester resin layer containing 0.1 to 5% by mass of olefin wax, having larger than 0.06 and not larger than 0.15 of plane orientation factor and 0.5 to 10 μm of thickness, being formed on the lower polyester resin layer. The metal sheet assures excellent taking-out performance of the contents also those of low fat and high protein foods, and provides formability and adhesion requested for the container working.

摘要: A colored laminated metal plate for containers includes a metal plate having one or both surfaces coated with a film for lamination in which a colored adhesive layer is coated to a polyester resin film. The colored adhesive layer contains a polyester resin as a main component and further contains an etherified amino resin, an epoxy resin, a strong acid compound, and a coloring agent. The colored laminated steel sheet is excellent in deep drawability, adhesion after forming, rust resistance of a damaged portion, and so on. When the steel sheet is applied to manufacturing of a container such as a can, retort whitening of the laminate film hardly occurs, and the design properties of appearance can be maintained.

摘要: A method for continuously tin-electroplating a metal strip, which comprises the steps of: causing a DC electric current to flow between a metal strip and an anode arranged adjacent to the metal strip while passing the metal strip at a travelling speed of at least 1 m/minute through an acidic tin-electroplating solution containing tin ions and an organic acid within a range of from 4.8 to 98 g/l as converted into sulfuric acid, to form a tin-electroplating layer on at least one surface of the metal strip; and applying an ultrasonic vibration, emitted from at least one ultrasonic vibrator and having an intensity within a range of from 0.01 to 1,000 W/100 cm.sup.2 and a frequency within a range of from 25 to 55 kHz, to the acidic tin-electroplating solution between the metal strip and the anode, thereby removing a diffusion layer of tin ions existing in the acidic tin-electroplating solution adjacent to the surface of the metal strip.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a tin-electroplated cold-rolled steel strip, which comprises the steps of: continuously annealing a degreased cold-rolled steel strip; then, subjecting, following the continuous annealing treatment, the continuously annealed cold-rolled steel strip to a continuous tin-electroplating treatment in a tin-electroplating bath to form, on at least one surface of the cold-rolled steel strip, a tin-electroplating layer having a plating weight within a range of from 0.1 to 2.8 g/m.sup.2 per surface of the cold-rolled steel strip; and then, temper-rolling, following the continuous tin-electroplating treatment, the cold-rolled steel strip having the tin-electroplating layer on at least one surface thereof, at a reduction ratio within a range of from 1 to 5%.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an electrolytically chromated steel sheet, comprising the steps of: subjecting a steel sheet to an anodic electrolytic treatment with a quantity of electricity of from 0.3 to 30 coulomb/dm.sup.2 in an acidic electrolyte containing at least one of chromic anhydride, chromate and bichromate, to form a hydrated chromium oxide film having numerous holes and numerous thin portions over the entire area of at least one surface of the steel sheet; and then subjecting the anodically treated steel sheet to a cathodic electrolytic chromate treatment in an acidic electrolytic chromating solution to form on the at least one surface of the steel sheet a chromate film comprising a metallic chromium layer as a lower layer having thereon numerous granular projections, and a hydrated chromium oxide layer as an upper layer. The electrolytically chromated steel sheet manufactured in accordance with the method of the present invention has excellent secondary paint adhesion and weldability, and has a satisfactory surface hue.
