The device may determine a plurality of cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits based on the plurality of control signaling bits. The device may apply a channel coding scheme to the plurality of control signaling bits and the plurality of CRC bits. The plurality of CRC bits may be distributed among the plurality of control signaling bits prior to applying the channel coding scheme. The device may transmit the channel coded plurality of control signaling bits and CRC bits.

摘要: A Node-B sends a polling message to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). The WTRU sends an uplink synchronization burst in response to the polling message without contention. The Node-B estimates an uplink timing shift based on the synchronization burst and sends an uplink timing adjustment command to the WTRU. The WTRU then adjusts uplink timing based on the uplink timing adjustment command. Alternatively, the Node-B may send a scheduling message for uplink synchronization to the WTRU. The WTRU may send a synchronization burst based on the scheduling message. Alternatively, the WTRU may perform contention-based uplink synchronization after receiving a synchronization request from the Node-B. The WTRU may enter an idle state instead of performing a handover to a new cell when the WTRU moves to the new cell. A discontinuous reception (DRX) interval for the WTRU may be set based on activity of the WTRU.

摘要: A base station may be configured to send a first downlink control information indicating that a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is to transmit uplink data on a first uplink channel. The base station may be configured to receive a plurality of a same value over a second uplink channel in response to a triggering condition. The second uplink channel may be a control channel. The base station may be configured to sending a second downlink control information in accordance with the plurality of the same value over the second uplink channel. The plurality of the same value may be in response to the first downlink control information providing an insufficient amount to transmit uplink data over the first uplink channel. The base station may be configured to send an indication of logical channels that are subject to triggering of an uplink scheduling request.

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is configured to transmit scheduling information over a first uplink channel, on a condition that the WTRU has an uplink scheduling grant to transmit uplink data. In response to a triggering condition, when the WTRU is not transmitting on the first uplink channel, the WTRU is configured to transmit a plurality of a same value over a second uplink channel. The second uplink channel is a control channel. The transmission of the plurality of the same value is based on having an insufficient uplink scheduling grant for the first uplink channel.

摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling transmit power in a wireless local area network (WLAN). For example, a station may receive, from an access point (AP), a beacon frame that includes a field indicating a maximum transmission power for at least one of a plurality of operational bandwidth that the AP supports. The station may determine a transmission power for a signal to be transmitted to the AP based on the at least one of the plurality of operational bandwidths indicated in the received beacon. The station may then transmit the signal at the determined transmission power.
