More specifically, the present invention, in its various embodiments, provides a process for manufacturing pet jerky treats comprising: grinding proteinaceous material, mixing said proteinaceous material with preservatives and flavor enhancers to form a blend of foodstuff, extruding said foodstuff through at least one die opening that is at least partially irregular to form at least one strip of extrudate that is at least partly irregular in shape, transporting said strip in a first longitudinal direction to a first cutting operation, cutting said strip at a first cutting angle to form a first set of pieces, transporting said first set of pieces in a second longitudinal direction to a second cutting operation, cutting said first set of pieces in said second cutting operation at a second angle to form a second set of pieces, such that the said second set of pieces cumulatively produced during a process run generally appear to be of random sizes and shapes.

The second cutter blade moving mechanism 25 sets the second cutter blade 22 to the release position 22B before the first cutter blade moving mechanism 24 moves the first cutter blade 21 from the forward position 21A to the retracted position 21B. Wear and noise can be prevented because the two cutter blades 21, 22 do not contact after cutting the recording paper 3.

The fiber clamp includes a clamp main body and a clamp cover body, which are pivotally connected. When in use, the cutter cover body is pressed to drive the clamp cover body close and push the blade-fixation seat to move, thereby the blade is aligned to cut the fiber.

In operation, the stack queuing assembly prepares the stacks of garment portions to be collected by the garment portion cutting apparatus to be processed. The garment portion cutting apparatus then collects the garment portions and processes the garment portions as desired by the user. The garment portion cutting apparatus includes a folding assembly for precisely folding the garment portion in an even manner, a shaping knife assembly treat is used to trim the garment portion according to the desired pattern, and a width knife assembly that makes sure the garment portion has the proper width. Lastly, after the garment portion is trimmed by the garment portion cutting apparatus, it is delivered to the collar receiving assembly to be stacked with the other processed garment portions for collection by the user.
