Abstract:
A run-flat tire, comprising a rim, a tire skin, and one or more elastomers, wherein the elastomer(s) is installed in a holding space within the tire skin, wherein the number of elastomers depending on the inner diameter of the tire skin and the inner width; while the external dimension and shape of the elastomer depends on the inner width of the tire skin and the tire width and shape of the tire skin, wherein the diameter of the elastomer shall be close to or no more than the inner diameter top of the tire skin and the inner diameter bottom of rim center.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a run-flat tire and condition sensing assembly for vehicle tires. The assembly comprises plurality of rounded, support objects, wherein each object comprises an interior, an interior surface, and an outer shell. There is also at least one rounded, sensor object comprising an interior, an interior surface, and an outer shell. A pressure sensor, which detects pressure and transmits a corresponding signal, is situated within the sensor object. A net houses the plurality of rounded, support and sensor objects. The interiors of the support objects can be filled with pressurized helium gas, an elastic material or contain a support structure. Accordingly, during deflation of the tire, the sensor alerts the driver of the deflation while the plurality of support objects prevents radical deformation of the tire and allows the driver to operate the vehicle to safety.
Abstract:
A tire has its tire cavity filled with inexpensive lubricated light cellular particles and thereby avoids deformation and flattening of the tire upon loss of inflation pressure while maintaining vehicular control.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for inserting inside tires of a vehicle so that it follows its course without stopping after a bursting. The device comprises a cluster of flexible bladders (1) which are made of rubber, have a diameter of one to several inches according to the use, are interconnected by a cord (2.1) with its distribution branches (2.2, 2.3) and an inflating stem (3). The air enters each bladder via the cord by means of a very sensitive mini-check valve (9). During inflation, the air contained inside the space of the tire is purged via a purging system (6, 7, 8). In one variant, the principle of the valves, cord and purge is retained, but there are fewer bladders and they have the shape of sections of the tire. Bladders that are resistant to depression can also be used with the same valves and purge but without a cord. The refilling ensues by an over inflation step followed by a reduction effected by the purge until the operating pressure is reached. Finally, one or several rings of multiple or single chambers can be used that are inflated to a pressure greater than the tire and mounted inside around the wheel.

Abstract:
A method and a device for reducing the internal noise of a vehicle produced during the rolling of the tire are described The device comprises a plurality of elements made from open-cell expanded materials, for example expanded polyethylene, or from fibers of the mineral or textile type. These elements are introduced into the tire during its mounting on the corresponding rim and are placed in the absence of restraints in the annular cavity delimited between the tire and the rim. As a result of the rolling of the wheel, the various elements, under the action of the centrifugal force, are moved and pushed in a random way towards the inner surface of the tire, producing a ragged surface whose presence, in combination with the open cells of said elements, modifies and damps the acoustic waves generated inside the tire during the rolling of the tire.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an explosion-proof security tyre for vehicles. The tyre includes an outer tyre, a split rim, a L-shaped sealing ring, a combined support loop and a valve core. The combined support loop includes a plurality layers of support rings they are sleeved by layer on layer and fixed with the rim. The size of the tyre can increased by the combined support loop so as to furthest shorten the distance between the inner wall of the outer tyre and the outer wall of the combined support loop at a normal pressure of tyre. At the moment that the tyre is burst, the combined support loop can support the outer tyre quickly and effectively, and control the change of acting radius of the tyre in a minimum range so as to ensure the basic performance of the tyre and to prevent accidents caused by sudden control loss of running direction and avoid potential security risks. Moreover, the split rim is benefit for mounting the combined support loop by layering, and is easy to be assembled and disassembled so that the tyre can be maintained and replaced by normal tools.
Abstract:
The universal system and device of the present invention, once inserted in a conventional pneumatic tire, allows the driven vehicle to be operated in a normal operating condition, as well as in both a low tire pressure and in a run flat condition. For such purpose the tire embodies this device, spherically shaped and not limited in size or quantity. The device is manufactured from rubber, neoprene or equivalent, and in various shore hardness as needed, to permit installation in all tire shapes and sizes, and can be accommodated on all standard or special vehicle rim sizes or configurations. The device is adaptable to automobile, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles or any vehicle that utilizes pneumatic tires and their various uses, including freeway driving, off road, snow and ice, and will adapt to any new configurations of tires and rims such as the low profile tires.
Abstract:
A tire assembly includes a safety rim, defining recesses on its inner surface, a tire including left and right edges, which are received in said recesses, and a plurality of inflated balls lying between the tire and the rim.
