    摘要: A brake pedal unit for coupling to a brake pedal includes a housing and a pedal simulator housed within a simulation chamber formed in the housing. The pedal simulator includes a spring for providing force feedback. A first piston is mounted in the housing. The first piston is operable to generate brake actuating pressure at a first pressure output. A second piston is mounted in the housing. The first piston is operable to generate brake actuating pressure at a second pressure output. An input piston is connected to operate the pedal simulator during a normal braking mode, and wherein the input piston is coupled to actuate the first and second pistons during a manual push-though mode.

    摘要: A braking apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a fluid pressure circuit that is provided between a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder, and that includes both a first system flow channel connecting a reservoir and at least one of the plurality of wheel cylinders, and a second system flow channel connecting at least one of the plurality of wheel cylinders and the master cylinder, and that forms a flow channel for supplying operating fluid to each of the wheel cylinders; and a pump provided in the first system flow channel and driven by the motor to increase the fluid pressure of the operating fluid to be supplied from the reservoir to the wheel cylinders. A control unit controls the driving state of the pump in order to drive, when a predetermined fail standard for braking control has been satisfied, the motor in accordance with the information detected by an operating state detection means, and executes fail-safe control for providing braking force by supplying the operating fluid discharged from the pump to the fluid pressure chamber in the master cylinder.

The metering check valve is interfaced with an anti-lock brake system (ABS), disposed in the hydraulic brake line between the brakes apply system of the ABS and a caliper member of the ABS located at each brake corner.     摘要: An automatic parking brake system is provided in which a parking piston that enables a parking brake state to be obtained by forward movement in response to a parking control fluid pressure acting on a rear face of the parking piston is slidably fitted into a casing, and a lock mechanism is provided within the casing in back of the parking piston to automatically lock in response to forward movement of the parking piston in order to mechanically lock the parking piston at a forward position and unlock in response to a parking release control fluid pressure acting on the lock mechanism, the parking control fluid pressure and the parking release control fluid pressure being obtained by a fluid pressure control mechanism for controlling a fluid pressure generated by a fluid pressure source. This enables an automatic parking brake state to be obtained by a simple structure without consuming power.
