摘要: An air purifying system includes an air purifier mechanism, a controller, and a sensing device. The sensing device is configured to measure an air quality parameter of the air entering the housing via the air inlet to generate inlet air quality data, and to measure an air quality parameter of the purified air exiting the housing via the air outlet to generate outlet air quality data. The controller is configured to: receive the inlet air quality data and the outlet air quality data, compare the inlet air quality data and the outlet air quality data with their corresponding predetermined threshold ranges, and determine an action to be taken.

摘要: An energy-efficient ventilation system comprises a ventilation fan, ductwork, system controller, and a plurality of ventilation points, each comprising a damper, a differential pressure sensor, a ventilation point controller, and a fume detector. When a ventilation point does not require ventilation, a signal is sent to the system controller to reduce the ventilation fan speed thereby using only as much energy as is needed to provide service to the ventilation points that need ventilation. The fume detector, damper, and differential pressure sensor for each ventilation point are used to determine whether ventilation is needed at a ventilation point and to control the ventilation point accordingly.

In one embodiment, an apparatus for monitoring, reporting and modifying the air in at least one room with at least one entrance/exit door within a building is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a plurality of sensors configured for sensing information related to a plurality of characteristics of the air in at least one room; a processor configured for collecting and processing the information to generate air-related data; and a transceiver configured for communicating the air-related data to a user device of a user and configured for communicating with a network of one or more devices that can modify the air in the at least one room. Systems and methods related thereto are disclosed herein.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus incorporates an ion generating device that generates positive and negative ions by applying an alternating-current voltage between electrodes. The generated positive and negative ions coexist in the air and, when they attach to the surfaces of airborne bacteria, they react chemically with each other and generate radical hydroxyl and hydrogen peroxide, which extract hydrogen atoms from the cells of the bacteria and thereby kill them. This sterilizing effect is combined with the temperature-conditioning, dehumidifying, humidifying, air-purifying, and other functions of the air conditioning apparatus to bring about a comfortable and healthful indoor environment.

摘要: A room ventilator for venting smoke exhaled by a smoker from a room to an exterior location. The room ventilator has an intake unit located in the room for drawing in smoke exhaled by the smoker, an air pump for producing an air flow to draw the smoke into the intake unit and exhausting the smoke to the exterior location, a connecting tube for connecting the intake unit to the air pump, and a window outlet adjuster for mounting in a window which enables a connecting tube to pass from the room to the exterior location. The window outlet adjuster has adjustable flaps for forming a barrier between the room and the exterior. Another embodiment is a ventilating unit having first and second sensors for respectively detecting the presence of first and second air pollutants at an interior location and starting an air pump when at least one of the first and second air pollutants is detected, an intake unit for drawing in the detected air pollutants, and a duct connecting the intake unit to the exterior for venting the detected air pollutants.

The system includes an aerosol-generating device; an ambient air quality sensor; and a controller. The device includes a housing having a chamber to receive an aerosol-forming substrate; and a heating assembly to heat the substrate when the substrate is received in the chamber. The ambient air quality sensor is arranged to sense a property of the ambient air in the vicinity of the system and the controller is connected to the ambient air quality sensor and is configured to receive ambient air quality readings from the ambient air quality sensor and to output an ambient air quality signal based on one or more of the readings of the ambient air quality sensor.
