摘要: In order to decrease internal friction of a heat engine that converts a reciprocating motion of a piston into a rotational motion, a piston apparatus (1) forms an air bearing between a crankshaft (30) and a bearing unit (9B) provided in a crankcase (9) and between an eccentric portion (30c) of the crankshaft (30) and a large end portion (201) of a connecting rod (20) by feeding a gas therebetween from a crank-side hollow portion (31) of the crankshaft (30). The piston apparatus 1 also forms an air bearing between a piston pin (40) and a small end portion (202) of the connecting rod (20) by feeding a gas therebetween from a piston pin-side hollow portion (43) in the piston pin (40).

摘要: An air balance structure that compensates for the weight load of a movable member driven in a straight line along the vertical axis, with a simplified structure and at reduced cost. The box-shaped movable member has an open bottom that accommodates the stationary member therewithin, in which state the movable member is movably supported in the vertical direction by an air bearing created using a gap between the stationary member and the movable member. An air balance chamber that contains pressurized air is formed inside the movable member. After pressure-adjusted air is supplied from the outside to the gap from a jet port through a pipe inside the stationary member, the air flows into the air balance chamber. This flow seals the pressurized air inside the air balance chamber. Pressurized air exhaust is exhausted externally from an exhaust port through a pipe and a flow adjusting device.

摘要: A variable capacity hydraulic machine has a rotating group located within a casing and a control housing secured to the casing to extend across and seal an opening in the casing. The control housing accommodates a control circuit and a pair of sensors to sense change in parameters associated with the rotating group. One of the sensors is positioned adjacent the barrel on the rotating group to sense rotational speed and the other senses displacement of the swashplate. The control housing accommodates a control valve and accumulator to supply fluid to the control valve.

摘要: A machine tool comprising a base, with a guide surface, a workpiece holder on the base, a movable tool carriage, and a motor for advancing the carriage along the guide surface toward the workpiece. Hydrostatic bearings are situated in the carriage for discharging fluid, such as oil, into the narrow gap defined between the carriage and the guide surface. A pre-load rail is secured to the movable carriage, and a plurality of pockets are defined in the pre-load rail. A hydrostatic pre-load piston, with an enlarged head and a depending base, is located in each pocket. A shallow depression is formed in the face of each piston, and an annular wall surrounds the depression, so that the piston restores itself to an equilibrium condition. The pre-load pistons are located in opposition to the hydrostatic bearings. An O-ring encircles the base of the piston, and allows floating, and tilting, movement of the piston within the pocket, while serving as a seal for the pocket. The individual pre-load pistons float and tilt to accommodate diverse localized distortions, anomalies, imperfections, machining errors, and the like, in the carriage, and in the guide surface.

摘要: The master cylinder of the present invention is provided with the bearing in which a bearing body includes the inner circumferencial seal groove which is formed with a L-shape in longitudinal section with one side surface thereof opened, and a set plate is secured to an end surface of the bearing body so as to close the opened side surface of the inner circumferencial seal groove, wherein the set plate has a plurality of engaging pawls formed thereon for resiliently to pressing the bearing body onto a stopper ring or pressing the bearing body onto a step portion between a cylinder hole and the bearing housing while elastically holding the bearing body, whereby the seal member can easily be fitted into an inner circumferencial seal groove, of a bearing while preventing the bearing from chattering and preventing the seal member from being deformed seriously.

摘要: A sealing device for a high pressure hydraulic piston mechanism in which the gap between the cylinder in which the piston is slideable to pressurize delivery fluid therein is sealed by sealing fluid drawn from a separate supply to that of the delivery fluid, delivery means being associated with the sealing fluid supply and being operable in response to pressurization of the delivery fluid to deliver sealing fluid to said gap at a pressure sufficient to form a seal therein, the sealing fluid of said seal being in direct contact with the pressurized delivery fluid and the piston being movable in at least one hydrostatic bearing supplied with sealing fluid in parallel to the supply thereof to said gap between the piston and the cylinder.

摘要: There is disclosed a radial piston machine comprising a cylinder block having at least one bore in which a piston supported on an eccentric disk is movably guided via roll bodies, wherein at least one hydrostatic relieving field is provided between the piston and the roll body. According to the invention, the active surface A2 of the relieving field is equal to or larger than the active piston area A1 of the piston restricting a cylinder chamber and the relieving field is in fluid communication with the cylinder chamber via a hydraulic resistance.
