The controller is configured to, when the pedestrian or the bicycle on the road shoulder in front of the vehicle is detected, change the light projection for the road surface image rendering by the light projection member so as to promote visual recognition of the pedestrian or the bicycle on the road shoulder in front of the vehicle.

    摘要: In one aspect, responsive to determining that an electric vehicle is connected to an external power source, an operator interface of the electric vehicle is enabled to command a headlight of the electric vehicle into an off condition. Responsive to determining that the electric vehicle is disconnected from the external power source and that the electric motor of the electric vehicle is powered, the headlight of the electric vehicle is maintained in an on condition, and the operator interface from commanding the headlight into the off condition is disabled. In another aspect, an electric vehicle headlight may be rendered non-deactivatable when an accelerator of the electric vehicle is enabled, and the headlight may be rendered deactivatable when an accelerator of the electric vehicle is disabled.

    摘要: A light distribution control apparatus includes an imaging device capable of capturing an image of a front vehicle existing in front of an own vehicle, a headlight capable of irradiating a front region of the own vehicle, and a control unit capable of executing light distribution control for controlling light distribution of the headlight so that a predetermined first region including the front vehicle and a predetermined second region other than the first region are irradiated with different illuminances based on the captured image obtained by capturing an image of the front region of the own vehicle. The control unit sets an illuminance irradiated in the first region to be less than an illuminance irradiated in the second region, and sets an area of the first region based on a position in a lateral direction of the front vehicle in the captured image.
