摘要: A group of homes, businesses, or other electric power consuming premises are aggregated and commonly controlled to dynamically reduce loads in sufficient quantities, and with sufficient rapidity and duration, to participate as a market participant in the energy markets including participating as a peaking power plant. While the amount of reduced power consumption for a single premises is typically quite small, the total reduced consumption of an aggregation of just a few thousand homes or businesses may be on the order of hundreds of kilowatts. A premises power controller in conjunction with intelligent circuit breakers, which may include dimmers, enable dynamic management of individual loads in each premises.

摘要: A method is provided for storing light distributions of a matrix headlight system. The method includes loading, from a memory, first control data for lighting means of a first matrix light module for generating a first light distribution; feeding the first control data to a comparison module; loading, from the memory, second control data for the lighting means of the first matrix light module or for lighting means of a second matrix light module for generating a second light distribution and feeding the second control data to a comparison module. The method compares the first and second control data; stores the first control data for the first light distribution if there is a similarity or equality between the first and second control data; and linking the second control data for the second light distribution by means of a link to the control data for the first light distribution.

摘要: Presented are intelligent electronic footwear and apparel with controller-automated features, methods for making/operating such footwear and apparel, and control systems for executing automated features of such footwear and apparel. A method for automating a collaborative operation between an intelligent electronic shoe (IES) and an intelligent transportation management (ITM) system includes receiving, via a detection tag attached to the IES shoe structure, a prompt signal from a transmitter-detector module communicatively connected to a traffic system controller of the ITM system. In reaction to the received prompt signal, the detection tag transmits a response signal to the transmitter-detector module. The traffic system controller uses the response signal to determine a location of the IES's user, and the current operating state of a traffic signal proximate the user's location. The traffic system controller transmits a command signal to the traffic signal to switch from the current operating state to a new operating state.

The controller is configured to, when the pedestrian or the bicycle on the road shoulder in front of the vehicle is detected, change the light projection for the road surface image rendering by the light projection member so as to promote visual recognition of the pedestrian or the bicycle on the road shoulder in front of the vehicle.

Responsive to determining that the electric vehicle is disconnected from the external power source and that the electric motor of the electric vehicle is powered, the headlight of the electric vehicle is maintained in an on condition, and the operator interface from commanding the headlight into the off condition is disabled. In another aspect, an electric vehicle headlight may be rendered non-deactivatable when an accelerator of the electric vehicle is enabled, and the headlight may be rendered deactivatable when an accelerator of the electric vehicle is disabled.

摘要: A light distribution control apparatus includes an imaging device capable of capturing an image of a front vehicle existing in front of an own vehicle, a headlight capable of irradiating a front region of the own vehicle, and a control unit capable of executing light distribution control for controlling light distribution of the headlight so that a predetermined first region including the front vehicle and a predetermined second region other than the first region are irradiated with different illuminances based on the captured image obtained by capturing an image of the front region of the own vehicle. The control unit sets an illuminance irradiated in the first region to be less than an illuminance irradiated in the second region, and sets an area of the first region based on a position in a lateral direction of the front vehicle in the captured image.
