摘要: The present invention describes a method for the production of a spinning dope composition, said method comprising a homogenization involving vigorous mixing of a cellulosic pulp material in alkali solution, vigorous mixing implying supplying a power density to agitators used in the homogenization step of at least 150 k W/m3 (k W supplied to agitators per mixed unit of liquid volume), and thereafter a dissolution involving mixing of the cellulosic pulp material in the alkali solution to obtain a spinning dope composition, wherein the power density supplied to agitators used in the dissolution step is maximum 75 k W/m3 (k W supplied to agitators per mixed unit of liquid volume); and wherein the cellulosic pulp material in alkali solution is kept at a temperature of less than 0° C. during the homogenization and during at least part of the dissolution. The present invention is also directed to a system intended for the production of a spinning dope composition.

摘要: Provided is a method for producing an alkyl cellulose having a high viscosity and not having an excessively high gel strength. More specifically, there is provided a method for producing an alkyl cellulose comprising the steps of: mixing a cellulose pulp with a first alkali metal hydroxide solution with stirring to obtain alkali cellulose; reacting the alkali cellulose with an alkylating agent to obtain a first reaction mixture; blending a second alkali metal hydroxide solution with the first reaction mixture with stirring, without further blending of the alkylating agent, to obtain a second reaction mixture; and purifying the second reaction mixture to obtain an alkyl cellulose. There is also provided an alkyl cellulose being produced by the above method and having a degree of substitution of alkyl group of 27 to 33% by weight.

摘要: A process for producing porous cellulose beads of the present invention is characterized by comprising the steps of: a) mixing an alkali aqueous solution and cellulose to prepare cellulose micro dispersion at low temperature, b) adding water to the cellulose micro dispersion to prepare cellulose slurry, and d) bringing the cellulose slurry into contact with coagulation solvent. A carrier for ligand immobilization of the present invention is characterized by being by shrinking polysaccharide porous beads not less than 10% by a shrinkage rate defined by the following formula, and crosslinking the polysaccharide porous beads: Shrinkage rate (%)=(1−V2/V1)×100 (wherein, V1 indicates the gel volume of polysaccharide porous beads before shrinkage, and V2 indicates the gel volume of polysaccharide porous beads after shrinkage).

摘要: Provided is a method for producing low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose with less yellowing. More specifically, the method for producing purified low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose includes the steps of: reacting alkali cellulose and an etherifying agent to obtain a reaction mixture; dispersing the reaction mixture in water containing a portion of acetic acid necessary for neutralizing the total amount of the reaction mixture to neutralize a portion of the reaction mixture, and then completely neutralizing with the remaining acetic acid to cause precipitation, to obtain a slurry containing crude low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose; disintegrating a solid component in the slurry through a cutter pump, the solid component containing the crude low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, and discharging the slurry containing the disintegrated solid component; washing the discharged slurry with water to obtain a cake of purified low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose; and drying the cake.

摘要: The method of fabricating biocompatible cellulose nanofibrils produces cellulose nanofibrils from used agro-waste Borassus flabellifer leaf stalks. The method uses a three-step process, including alkali treatment, bleaching, and acid hydrolysis to produce cellulose nanofibrils, which may be converted to pellets for storage. The pellets may be converted to a transparent film for cell attachment by dispersion in water and heating in a hot air oven. Testing shows that cellulose nanofibrils made by the method easily attract human mesenchymal stem cells and will be applicable for skin tissue engineering applications.

摘要: Provided are a method for producing a water-soluble cellulose ether having a low degree of polymerization and enhanced whiteness, and the like. The method includes the steps of: bringing a pulp powder having a multiplication product of less than 0.004 mm2 which is obtained by multiplying a number-average fiber length by a number-average fiber width, each measured with a Kajaani fiber length analyzer, into contact with an alkali metal hydroxide to obtain an alkali cellulose; reacting the alkali cellulose with an etherifying agent to obtain a crude water-soluble cellulose ether having a high degree of polymerization; purifying the crude water-soluble cellulose ether; drying the purified water-soluble cellulose ether; grinding the dried water-soluble cellulose ether into a water-soluble cellulose ether powder; and depolymerizing the water-soluble cellulose ether powder to obtain the water-soluble cellulose ether having a low degree of polymerization.

摘要: The invention is a method for efficiently preparing alkali cellulose having a uniform alkali distribution therein. More specifically, pulp and an excess alkali metal hydroxide solution are introduced continuously in a screw conveyor type contactor and brought into contact with each other in the screw conveyor type reactor. By changing at least one factor selected from the group consisting of a rotation speed of the screw conveyor, a screw pitch and a length of immersion zone, a ratio of an alkali to cellulose in the alkali cellulose obtained by draining is controlled. The alkali cellulose thus obtained is etherified into the corresponding cellulose ether.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing ultra-low viscosity hydroxyalkyl cellulose through a partial neutralization method, and the method includes: reacting cellulose with an alkalizing agent to obtain alkalized cellulose; reacting the alkalized cellulose with an etherifying agent to obtain hydroxyalkyl cellulose; performing first neutralization of the hydroxyalkyl cellulose; decomposing the hydroxyalkyl cellulose by using hydrogen peroxide; and performing second neutralization of the hydroxyalkyl cellulose. Through the aforementioned method, ultra-low viscosity hydroxyalkyl cellulose can be manufactured while preventing a process problem, such as swelling, which may occur through the decomposition of an acid treatment.
