    摘要: The invention relates to methods of disposing household waste, in particular, to methods of disposing waste with low content of water by plasma-chemical destruction. The invention is directed to attaining a technical effect of broadening range of technical solutions by providing a method of destruction of organic waste with low content of water. The technical effect is attained by a destruction method, where organic waste with low content of water is loaded into a reactor via an input opening, and waste of biological origin is loaded additionally. The reactor is provided in form of a closed cavity, which inner surface is made conductive entirely or partially and grounded. An electrode protrudes into the reactor, which is isolated from the grounded surface. High-voltage pulses are supplied to the electrode. The pulses cause formation of corona discharge streamers in a gap between the electrode and the conductive surface of the reactor.

    摘要: Apparatus for converting Spent Pot Lining (SPL) into inert slag, aluminum fluoride and energy includes a plasma arc furnace such that the destruction of SPL occurs therein. The furnace generates an electric arc within the waste, which arc travels from an anode to a cathode and destroys the waste due to the arc's extreme temperature, thereby converting a mineral fraction of SPL into vitrified inert slag lying within a crucible of the furnace. The furnace gasifies the carbon content of the SPL and produces a well-balanced syngas. The gasification takes place due to the controlled intake of air and steam into the furnace. The gasification reaction liberates significant amount of energy. Steam captures this excess energy, to provide part of the oxygen requirement for gasification and to contribute to raise the syngas H2 content. Steam also contributes to converting some SPL fluorides (NaF and Al2F3) into hydrogen fluoride. The plasma SPL processing system is compact (occupying less area than some competitive methods of SPL treatment), can be installed in close proximity to the aluminium plant (minimizing transportation of SPL and AlF3), and requires only electricity as its energy source and thus no fossil fuels.

    摘要: Provided is a processing apparatus for processing water-containing organic matters. The processing apparatus includes: a processing tank configured to store the water-containing organic matters; a stirring unit configured to stir the water-containing organic matters; a heater configured to heat the processing tank; an exhaust unit configured to exhaust gas from the processing tank at a rate from 1 m3/min to 300 m3/min; and an ion gas supply unit configured to supply ion gas into the processing tank with the exhaustion of the gas from the interior of the processing tank, the ion gas having an ion density of at least 2,000,000 pcs/cc, wherein the heater heats an interior of the processing tank while the stirring unit stirs the water-containing organic matters, and the ion gas is supplied into the processing tank according to the exhaustion by the exhaust unit, whereby processing the water-containing organic matters.

    摘要: A plasma or ionic reactor or gasifier implements an ultra-high temperature ionic gasification process that can be used in an environmentally friendly manner to dispose of dried biosolids from, for example, wastewater treatment plants as well other waste feed stocks such as municipal solid waste (MSW) to produce, for example, renewable syngas that can be used to provide heat, power, renewable fuels, renewable hydrogen, and/or renewable chemical production. The systems described herein do so by generating electrical arcs across the interior of the gasifier reaction chamber creating a localized, controlled temperature in excess of 3000 C along with ionic gas or particles (plasma). This ultra-high temperature gasification zone and active ionic environment combine to very effectively and efficiently break down molecules into their constituent atoms, in a process called complete molecular dissociation. This ultra-high temperature ionic zone will also rapidly decompose impurities in the feed stock such as microplastics, PFAS (Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances), and other fluorocarbon materials.
