摘要: A refrigerant charging system includes: a reliquefaction system reliquefying boil-off gas generated in a liquefied gas storage tank by compressing the boil-off gas and subjecting the compressed boil-off gas to heat exchange with refrigerant supplied to a heat exchanger while circulating along a refrigerant circulation line; a buffer tank storing utility N2 to be supplied to the ship; a booster compressor receiving the utility N2 from the buffer tank, compressing the received N2, and supplying the compressed N2 to the refrigerant circulation line; and a first load-up line along which the N2 is supplied from the buffer tank to the refrigerant circulation line without passing through the booster compressor. Upon initial charging in a non-operation state of the reliquefaction system, the refrigerant circulation line is charged with refrigerant by supplying the N2 from by a pressure differential between the refrigerant circulation line and the buffer tank.

摘要: A system configured to self-deploy an aerodynamic structure can include an outer container, load transfer components, the aerodynamic structure, and conversion devices. The outer container can have a standardized form factor and can store the aerodynamic structure therein and deploy the aerodynamic structure therefrom. The load transfer components can transfer propulsion loads from the system to a shipping vehicle. The aerodynamic structure can include wind capturing components that convert wind forces to propulsion loads and structural components that stabilize and space apart the wind capturing components. The aerodynamic structure can be deployed to an extended configuration outside the outer container and be retracted to a stored configuration within the outer container. The conversion devices can deploy the aerodynamic structure from the stored configuration to the extended configuration and retract the aerodynamic structure from the extended configuration to the stored configuration while the system is removably installed on the shipping vehicle.

The cascade refrigeration system has a first refrigeration cycle comprising a first compressor and a first expansion valve, a second refrigeration cycle comprising a second compressor and a second expansion valve, and a cascade heat exchanger. The cascade heat exchanger comprises a condenser side fluidically coupled downstream of the first compressor and upstream of the first expansion valve, and an evaporator side fluidically coupled downstream of the second expansion valve and upstream of the second compressor. The cascade refrigeration system also comprises a pre-cooler comprising a first side and a second side. The first side is fluidically coupled downstream of the first compressor and upstream of the condenser side of the cascade heat exchanger, and the pre-cooler is configured to transfer heat between refrigerant in the first side and refrigerant in the second side.

摘要: A swivel gyro-mount system for a self-contained air conditioning system, disclosing a unit having a main body with an evaporator having an evaporator cover with an aperture bordered on a side opposite of the evaporator by a plurality of frustum-spherical wall sections, thereby creating a boundary. A frustum-spherical gyro-swivel ring is positioned within the boundary of the frustum-spherical wall sections. The frustum-spherical wall sections movably contain the frustum-spherical gyro-swivel ring in a tight periphery, thereby allowing the frustum-spherical gyro-swivel ring to adjust in orientation, whereby the adjustment in orientation influences a direction of airflow in a conical range of orientations to a blower, whereby said blower may expel air in a plurality of selectable directions in a range of angulation resembling a dual conical shape.

摘要: In a first aspect, the present application relates to a method for the treatment of black water, comprising the steps of: collecting black water; treating said black water in an electrocoagulation cell with iron or aluminum electrode, such that electrocoagulation effluent and electrocoagulation sludge are obtained; separating the electrocoagulation sludge from the electrocoagulation effluent; disinfecting said electrocoagulation effluent in an electro-oxidation cell with a titanium or stainless-steel electrode, obtaining disinfected effluent. In a further aspect, the current application relates to a closed toilet system.

摘要: Disclosed is a re-liquefying device using a boil-off gas as a cooling fluid so as to reliquefy the boil-off gas generated from a liquefied gas storage tank provided in a ship. A boil-off gas re-liquefying device for a ship comprises: a multi-stage compression unit for compressing boil-off gas generated from a liquefied gas storage tank; a heat exchanger in which the boil-off gas generated from the storage tank and the boil-off gas compressed exchange heat; a vaporizer for heat exchanging the boil-off gas cooled by the heat exchanger and a separate liquefied gas supplied to a fuel demand source of a ship, and thus cooling the boil-off gas; an intermediate cooler for cooling the boil-off gas that has been cooled by the heat exchanger; and an expansion means for branching a part of the boil-off gas, which is supplied to the intermediate cooler, and expanding the same.

The hull has opposing walls that extend upwardly, where the opposing walls have inner sides that face inwardly toward each other and outer sides that face outwardly. A first of the outer sides defines a first opening therein that is horizontally closer to the midpoint than to the stern and horizontally closer to the midpoint than to the bow. An engine compartment is configured for positioning an engine therein. A first conduit fluidly couples the first opening and the engine compartment for at least one of ventilating and exhausting the engine compartment. The first opening is positioned to prevent water from entering the first conduit.
