Abstract:
A hanger for connecting a bracing panel to a truss having a chord member includes a first portion having opposite upper and lower edge margins. The first portion is configured to be positioned between the chord member and the bracing panel. A second portion extends from the upper edge margin of the first portion in a first direction. The second portion is configured to overlie and engage a portion of the chord member. A third portion extends from the lower edge margin of the first portion in a second direction opposite the first direction. The third portion is configured to underlie and support a portion of the bracing panel.
Abstract:
A bowling shoe sole fastening system of structures that allows a variety of outsoles to be attached to and detached from the midsole that improve the consistency of the flex of the show throughout a bowler's stride, which allow the bowling shoe to be adjusted to achieve consistent stopping and sliding characteristics over a variety of bowling lane conditions and maintain consistent performance in the flex of the shoe across cycles of attachment, detachment, and reattachment.
Abstract:
A tile having a contrast pattern intermixed with a portion of a background pattern. The contrast pattern is positioned proximate a selected corner of the tile and has a contrast color different than the colors of the background pattern. Within a surface covering, the rotational position of the tile can be varied to thereby achieve a desired visual appearance with respect to the contrast patterns of adjacent tiles.
Abstract:
Described herein are resilient floor coverings made from non-vinyl materials and methods for manufacturing same. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
Abstract:
A yarn texturizing apparatus and method for texturizing a plurality of yarns, which can include a tack assembly and a jet box assembly. The tack assembly can be configured to receive a bundle of yarns and impart a plurality of twists to each bundle of yarns and subsequently impart a first tack point at a point corresponding to a twist reversal between the twists. The downstream jet box assembly can be configured to place a plurality of additional tack points intermittently along the plurality of twists of each bundle of yarn.
Abstract:
A high-strength laser configured column anchor and anchoring system is disclosed. The high-strength column anchor provides high-strength pullout resistance when embedded within the wall bed joint. Specially-configured apertures, edging and dimension restrictions provide for flow-through mortar embedment within the wall bed joint. The edging provides irregular and regular patterns ensuring a secure fit within the bed joint. The column anchors include a flat and rotated form for secure attachment to the column flanges and optionally include a securement bar or clamp to further secure the column anchor to the column flanges.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the reclaiming of carpet waste material. More particularly, the invention relates to a method and system for reclaiming carpet components such as yarn, tufting primary, binder, and secondary backing from post industrial and post consumer carpet waste in a substantially continuous flow process.
Abstract:
A fail-safe wall anchor for cavity walls includes a wingnut including receptors for receiving pintles of a veneer tie. Thermally insulative material is provided to inhibit transfer of heat from the veneer tie to the wall anchor. Back up structure is provided in the event the thermally insulative material fails to maintain the structural connection between the wall anchor and the veneer tie.
