摘要: The present invention discloses a solution that automatically decomposes a batch process into multiple units of work without changing code of a pre-existing batch application. In the solution, the batch application is first analyzed to identify a set of processing segments or units of work, where each unit of work is of a size that minimizes interference with other data accesses. Once each unit of work is defined, these units can execute one at a time. A syncpoint can be established for each unit before it is executed, which locks the records included in the unit. After the unit of work executes, the record lock can be released and a new syncpoint can be established for the next unit. If an execution problem occurs, execution for the unit of work can be terminated and chances can be restored to the syncpoint.

摘要: An electromechanical actuator test system includes an inertia simulator, a first load actuator, a second load actuator, and a test system control. The inertia simulator simulates the inertia of at least a portion of a system that is moved by a test actuator. The first load actuator supplies a first load to the inertia simulator to simulate at least one or more dynamic system loads, and the second load actuator supplies a second load to the inertia simulator to simulate at least one or more steady-state system loads. The test system control supplies the first actuator commands and the second actuator commands.

摘要: The Invention, titled the “Split Chip” by the Inventor, contemplates an RFID enabled consumer oriented tracking system which protects consumer privacy by splitting a miniaturized silicon RFID transponder circuit into a retained piece and a detached piece. The two pieces are electrically connected by a fine piece of conductive material. Each piece is dependent upon the other in order to disgorge data. The electrical connection between the two pieces can be severed by the consumer by tearing the fine piece of conductive material at a designated spot on the substrate making the Split Chip moribund. Upon a return or refund of the consumer item the original data can be recovered through a laser guidance system which connects the retained piece and its alpha numeric identifier to a back end host computer administration network.

摘要: A system to capture a remote RFID electro magnetic interrogation of a warehouse or distribution center environment through the propitious use of an external directional antenna. The system comprises a directional external yagi antenna affixed to the exterior of the distribution center or warehouse distribution center; an electric motor attached to a boom of the external yagi antenna to enable the antenna to change direction; a directional finding equipment spliced to the circuit of the external yagi antenna, and multiple transformers, the antenna and interrogation units mounted to a ceiling of the warehouse or distribution center to modulate and reradiate signals of the remote microwave or ultra high frequency interrogation to interrogate transponders attached to articles at the articles' resonant frequency and re-radiate responses to the external yagi antenna for capture by the cellular transmission tower.

摘要: A virtual private network (VPN) is formed with a pair of autonomous systems (ASes) connected by each having at least two autonomous system border routers (ASBRs) connected to the corresponding ASBRs at the other AS, referred to as an Option B VPN-IPv4 network. Route reflectors (RRs) only reflect the best Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) paths, providing no backup BGP paths for fast convergence. Advantageously, an automatic route distinguisher (RD) rewrite component at the ASBRs creates unique prefixes and advertises the original RD as transitive attribute in an update message to external AS peers. Each RD gets mapped to another unique prefix at the ASBR and also that two ASBRs will create different unique prefixes. Thus, the route reflector sees different prefixes and reflects all of them. The ingress provider edge (PE) router can import the prefixes and correctly obtain the alternate paths for fast convergence.

摘要: A fault-tolerant position feedback filter may be used in an actuation control system to limit the authority of a first position signal, should the first position signal become erroneous, and thereby prevent a postulated runaway condition of an acuator. The filter includes a difference function, a limited integrator, and a summer The difference function is coupled to receive a first position signal and a combined position error signal and is operable to supply a first position error signal representative of a mathematical difference between the first position signal and the combined position signal. The limited integrator is coupled to receive the first position error signal and operable to supply an integrated position error signal that is limited in magnitude to a predetermined limit. The summer is coupled to receive the integrated position error signal and a second position signal and is operable to supply the combined position error signal. The combined position error signal is representative of a mathematical sum of the integrated position error signal and the second position signal.
