摘要： A data delivery terminal (12) is connected to a delivery server (18) via a radio base station (14) and a cellular phone network (16). A user can input reservation information of content data (music data) by operating an operation panel on the data delivery terminal (12). For example, the reservation information includes a date and time of download and a title name of music data, connection information (DAP-TEL) to an access point (DAP) for a download server (20) and etc. When such the reservation information is input, the data delivery terminal (12) dials the access point in accordance with the date and time included in the reservation information. When a connection state is established, desired music data is transmitted from the download server (20) such that the music data is downloaded to a memory card attached to the data delivery terminal (12).

Therefore, the mobile telephone (12) is capable of downloading the music data by connecting it to the download server (24) from the access point where traffic is not congested based on the download information. Thus, a required time for downloading cannot be longer than necessary.

摘要： In a cellular phone, a controller stores content data received from a distribution server into a memory. When the content data is to be transmitted to a memory card, a random number key generator generates a license key, and an encryption processing unit encrypts the content data using the license key. The controller transmits encrypted content data to a memory card via a memory card interface. Then, the controller deletes the content data stored in the memory. As a result, distribution of content data that must be deleted when transferring to another apparatus can be facilitated while protecting the copyright.

摘要： When “0” indicating that intensity of a stereoscopic effect is the lowest is applied as a stereoscopic effect tag, a stereoscopic image is allowed to be displayed as it is. On the other hand, when “1, 2, and 3” are applied as the stereoscopic effect tag, a reduction ratio is determined depending on a value of the stereoscopic effect tag (one-half, one-third, etc.). On the basis of this reduction ratio, the stereoscopic image is displayed and letters of “warning” are displayed. A user selects whether to display the stereoscopic image according to a producer's intention or to maintain the size-reduced stereoscopic image. If an operation requiring for a display of the stereoscopic image as it is intended by the producer is performed, an original stereoscopic image is displayed.

Each unit comprises physically continuous recording regions having predetermined size, and usage status of the unit is stored in an allocation unit (AU) management table. Data requiring a real time processing is stored in each unit. When the usage status of the unit is changed or modified due to the recording or deletion of data, the AU management table is updated and then information indicative of the fact that the AU management table has been updated is recorded. An apparatus where the final change is made is detected at the time the hard disk is inserted or a file system is initialized. And if the apparatus which last made the change adopts the file system which does not use the AU management table, then the table is reconfigured so as to retain the consistency of the AU management table.

摘要： In a polymer electrolyte fuel cell of the present invention, at least one of electrodes comprises conductive carbon carrying a platinum group metal catalyst, conductive carbon carrying no catalyst metal and a hydrogen ion-conductive polymer electrolyte. The preferable amount of the conductive carbon carrying no catalyst metal is equivalent to 5 to 50 wt % of the conductive carbon carrying the catalyst metal. Incorporation of the conductive carbon carrying no catalyst metal to the catalyst layer enables reduction in potential concentration on part of electron conduction channels in an electrode, whereby an electrode for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having an excellent life characteristic can be provided.
