    摘要: The invention concerns a system for monitoring the concentration of analytes in body fluids, in particular in interstitial fluid and comprises a catheter having an implantable region and an outlet opening for withdrawing fluid in particular body fluid. A first and a second analytical zone are contacted sequentially with fluid from the catheter and undergo a detectable change when an analyte is present. The analytical zones can be contacted manually with fluid and also preferably in an automated fashion by means of a device. A system according to the invention additionally has an analytical device for analysing the analytical zones in order to determine the concentration of the analyte on the basis of changes caused by the analyte. A further subject matter of the present invention are catheters for use in systems according to the invention as well as magazines containing test zones.

    摘要: The present invention provides a portable blood sugar measuring device comprising a tape unit for winding a test tape forward in sections, a detection unit for detecting measured values on the sections of tape to which body fluid has been applied, and a housing to hold the tape unit and detection unit. The tape unit and/or the detection unit can be deflected relative to the housing (10) from an operating position against a flexible restoring element (18) when subjected to a shock load. Also disclosed is a novel cover having open and closed positions. The cover is positioned at an opening of the housing through which the receiving site of the tape unit protrudes. The cover thus protects the receiving site from external effects when the cover is in the closed position. Similarly, the receiving site is accessible to apply body fluid thereto when the cover is in the open position.

    摘要: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, in which a solenoid valve controlled by at least one of the state variables essential for operation of the engine, such as load, engine speed, pressure and temperature of combustion air, etc., controls the injection process by means of a shut-off device loaded by a spring on one end, the shut-off device being in one end position during the time of injection, but is subject to the feed pressure on both ends and is resting in the other end position while the pump is being filled. The chamber guiding the end of the slide-type shut-off device opposite the spring, is directly linked with the pump chamber of the high-pressure pump by a duct. In this manner the reversal of the slide takes place abruptly, which will permit a much better adaptation of the injection process to the different state variables of the combustion engine than before.

    摘要: A counting and filling apparatus for tablets, dragees, or similar elements comprises a plurality of counting bars arranged parallel and closely adjacent each other and each formed with a plurality of cutouts therethrough, spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the bars. The bars are connected in the region of opposite ends by chains or the like to form an endless receiving and transporting unit, which is guided over front and rear reversing rolls, at least one of which is driven so that the unit moves along an endless path having an upper and a lower run. The elements are filled in the region of the upper run into the cutouts of the counting bars and prevented from falling out of the same by a boundary means extending along the upper run and the front reversing roll. Scanning means are provided to check the presence or absence of elements in each of the cutouts of the bars as the latter pass the scanning means, and the scanning means cooperate with ejector means for ejecting all elements from the cutout of the respective bar if the scanning means senses the absence of an element in at least one of the cutouts of the bar, or the scanning means cooperate with additional filling means to fill any empty cutout in the respective bar.
