摘要: A mixture control system comprises an oxygen sensor for generating a sensor signal varying linearly as a function of the oxygen concentration of exhaust emissions from an internal combustion engine when the air-fuel ratio of mixture supplied thereto is leaner than stoichiometric value. Optimum values of the sensor signal are stored in storage locations of a memory addressable as a function of detected engine operating parameters. A data processor determines the quantity of fuel to be supplied to the engine in accordance with the detected engine operating parameters, addresses the memory as a function of the detected engine operating parameters, detects a difference between the sensor signal and a signal addressed in the memory, integrates the difference and corrects the fuel quantity with the integrated value.

摘要: A control device for vehicles includes a microcomputer having an output port which outputs a signal in a normal operating state of the microcomputer, and two electronic circuits associated with the microcomputer. The two electronic circuits operate to change a control mode for the vehicle to a fallback mode upon occurrence of a malfunction or misoperation in the microcomputer thereby to prevent the vehicle from operating in a dangerous running condition caused by erroneous control due to the misoperation by the microcomputer.

摘要: A fuel supply control system for internal combustion engines properly controls the additional fuel supply at high speed operation and full load operation of the engine without causing overheating of the exhaust gas purifying device of the engine. The fuel supply control system includes a throttle switch for generating a load detection signal when the throttle valve is at its substantially full open position indicative of the heavy load condition of the engine and includes a high speed detecting device for generating a high speed detection signal when the amount of air sucked into the engine or when the intermittent signals from an ignition device exceeds a predetermined amount. In response to at least one of the detection signals, the additional fuel is supplied to the engine.

摘要: An electronically-controlled fuel injection system includes electromagnetic fuel injection valves each of which is mounted in each cylinder of an internal combustion engine, and the injection of fuel during the starting period of the engine is also effected only by these fuel injection valves. During the starting period of the engine, the duration of the opening of the fuel injection valves is controlled at a constant value irrespective of the rotational speed of the engine until the rotational speed reaches a value corresponding to the initial combustion of fuel in the engine, after which the duration of the opening of the fuel injection valves is controlled in relation to the rotational speed of the engine. Further, during the time that the starter motor is in operation, the duration of the opening of the fuel injection valves which was basically determined in the previously mentioned manner is increased to a great extent in accordance with the temperature of the engine until the engine rotational speed reaches a value corresponding to the complete combustion of fuel in the engine.

摘要: A rotational speed detecting apparatus for controlling the operation of an electronically controlled fuel injection system in accordance with the rotational speed of an engine. A reference pulse generator is connected to generate a reference pulse signal in synchronism with a pulse signal which is generated by the fuel injection system in substantial synchronism with the rotation of the engine. The reference pulse generator is further connected to change the time width of the reference pulse signal in response to the operation of a starter motor and a throttle valve so that it represents the predetermined rotational speeds of the engine. A comparison circuit is connected to compare the one cycle period of the pulse signal with the time width of the reference pulse signal. The output signal of the comparison circuit is applied to the fuel injection system so that it controls fuel enrichment and fuel cut-off operation of the fuel injection system.

摘要: An electronic fuel injection system generates primary fuel control pulses in synchronism with the crankshaft rotation. The width of these control pulses is adjusted according to the indications of various engine transducers and determines the amount of fuel to be injected. The system also includes an air flow rate transducer whose output signal is monitored by a comparator. When the air flow rate signal undergoes very rapid changes, the comparator triggers a secondary pulse generator which supplies additional fuel injection control pulses to admit more fuel. The occurrence of the secondary pulses is temporally independent of the primary pulses.

摘要: A fuel injection control system comprising an air-fuel ratio feedback control in combination with an electronically controlled fuel injection system. In this system, the concentration of oxygen contained in the engine exhaust gases is compared with a predetermined value in a comparator whereby whether the fuel injection quantity is to be corrected in a direction to increase it or in a direction to decrease it is determined in accordance with the output of the comparator, and the rate of change of the correction is controlled in accordance with a sum output produced by adding a detected value of engine rpms and a detected value of engine intake state. When the air-fuel control cannot operate properly, for example because of a low exhaust temperature or under deceleration conditions, a holding circuit is connected to the integrater output to maintain the integrated output at a value intermediate the fluctuating range thereof. The system has an excellent follow-up characteristic to respond to rapid changes in the operating conditions of an engine and it is capable of maintaining the air-fuel mixture ratio at a predetermined value.
