摘要: A method and system for automated magnetic resonance (MR) scan prescription is disclosed. A 3D MR scout image is obtained by an initial MR scan. The location of an optic nerve in the scout image is determined by registering a template image to the scout image using a hierarchical series of rigid registrations. The hierarchical series of rigid registrations utilizes a coarse to fine scheme to register regions in the template image to the scout image, starting with the whole template image and finishing with the optic nerve. A diagnostic MR scan is then aligned based on the location of the optic nerve in the scout image, and the diagnostic scan is performed resulting in a high quality diagnostic 3D MR image.

摘要: A radiation inspection system is disclosed. The radiation inspection system comprises: an inspection passage through which a moving object under inspection can pass, a radiation source disposed on a side of the inspection passage for emitting radiation, an array of detectors disposed on the other side of the inspection passage opposite to the radiation source for receiving the radiation emitted from the radiation source, a detector for detecting the moving object, and a controller for receiving a signal from the detector and controlling the radiation source to emit radiation when the detector detects the moving object for radiation imaging and inspection of the moving object. According to the radiation inspection system, the controller can control the radiation source to automatically emit radiation beam based on the detection signal from the detector for inspecting the moving object. As a result, inspection efficiency is improved, safety is increased, and misoperation of the radiation source is eliminated.

One embodiment of the inventive method involves formulating a black box optimization problem, and solving the optimization problem using an enhanced smart hill climbing method. The smart hill climbing method includes both a global and a more precise local search to identify an optimal solution. In one embodiment, one or both of the global and local searches employs a weighted Latin Hypercube Sampling method in combination with importance sampling techniques to yield improved search results.

摘要: Disclosed are a method and a device for inspection of drugs concealed in liquid articles without opening the outer packages. The method comprises the steps of: emitting radiation beams to transmit through the liquid article; receiving the radiation beams transmitted through the liquid article to get multi-angle projection data; inversely operating the multi-angle projection data based on the uniformity of the liquid article to obtain an attribute value of the inspected liquid article; retrieving a reference attribute value in a pre-created database by using the identification information of the liquid article as an index, and calculating a difference between the calculated attribute value and the reference attribute value; and determining whether the difference is larger than a predefined threshold value; wherein it is concluded that there are drugs concealed in the liquid article when the difference is determined to be larger than the predefined threshold value.

摘要: Standard solderless connectors extend from a molded package body supporting at least one high power LED. The package includes a relatively large metal slug extending completely through the package. The LED is mounted over the top surface of the metal slug with an electrically insulating ceramic submount in-between the LED and metal slug. Electrodes on the submount are connected to the package connectors. Solderless clamping means, such as screw openings, are provided on the package for firmly clamping the package on a thermally conductive mounting board. The slug in the package thermally contacts the board to sink heat away from the LED. Fiducial structures (e,g., holes) in the package precisely position the package on corresponding fiducial structures on the board. Other packages are described that do not use a molded body.
