    摘要: A method and apparatus of vehicle theft prevention, which utilizes a key having a transponder bearing an ID and a key cylinder, that is adapted to receive this key and which has an antenna for supplying electrical power to the transponder and receiving an ID signal back from it. This system permits easy correction of incorrectly set original IDs or the simple substitution of a new key or an old master key as a new master key into a vehicle wherein the lock cylinder must be replaced due to a defect. Also there is provided a holding circuit for permitting continued operation of the prime mover until the recognized key is shut off regardless of the condition of the controller.

    摘要: A levitation melting method and device through which a material having various configurations can be melted through efficient induction heating. First, a starting material(WB), whose outer diameter has been adapted to the inner diameter of a crucible(13), is inserted in crucible(13). The crucible(13) is shielded with argon gas, thereby starting the melting of the material(WB) to molten metal(WM). Subsequently, a suction tube(33) of a mold(31) is inserted into the molten metal(WM) for drawing a part of molten metal(WM) up into the mold(31) for casting. After part of the molten metal(WM) is drawn up, a sliding cover(15) is slid such that a material holder(19) is positioned right above the crucible(13). By opening a sliding plate(35) of the material holder(19), material pieces(WS) are inserted from the material holder(19) into the molten metal(WM) left in the crucible(13). Since gaps in the material pieces(WS) are filled with the molten metal(WM), a dense bulk is formed which is to be melted through induction heating.

A second connector (i.e., a mating connector) to be connected to this first connector is provided with provisionally-retaining arms each of which forces a corresponding one of the multi-pole sub-connectors from the frame if this corresponding sub-connector is incompletely retained on the frame.

    摘要: The present divisional multi-polar connector is free from difficulties caused by uneven end portions of the male connector housings, such as deformation of the connector, entanglement of the wire harness or the like with the connector during transportation, or damage to the terminals. In a divisional multi-polar connector in which plural kinds of male connector housings are protruded from a first frame, the front end of the first frame has recesses so that the engaging surfaces of the end portions of the male connector housings are made flush with each other. When a male connector housing is not present, a dummy housing is provided, so that all the points on the overall engaging surface of the connector are co-planar.

    摘要: A female terminal includes a female terminal member and a protective sleeve. The female terminal member has a receptacle section to which a male terminal is to be connected and an electrical wire connecting section to which an electrical wire is to be connected. The receptacle section has a base cylindrical part and a flexible contact part extending from the base cylindrical part. The protective sleeve for protectively covering the receptable section of the female terminal member is fitted around the receptacle section. The sleeve has a base cylindrical portion fixedly fitted onto the base cylindrical part of the receptacle section and an enlarged diameter portion integrally connected to the base cylindrical portion through a step portion. When the female terminal thus constituted is fitted in a connector housing, at least one stopper arm provided in the connector housing come to engage with the step portion to securely hold the female terminal in the housing. The engagement between the stopper arm and the step portion of the female sleeve is made relatively near from a front opening of the housing.

A first discriminating sensor detects a front surface of the workpiece, and determines either a semiconductor wafer or a spacer is the workpiece. Where the workpiece is a wafer, the first discriminating sensor also determines whether or not a protective tape is on the front surface of the workpiece. Where it is determined that a protective tape is not on the front surface, a second discriminating sensor detects a back surface of the wafer for discriminating the presence or absence of the protective tape.
