摘要: The method includes: a reader begins to count the tags, and waits for feedback of the tags; the tags are split into two subsets if the tags feedback the collision, the tags of one of the subsets feedback, the tags of the other subset begin to feedback when the tags of one of the subsets complete the count; when the collision occurs in the course of feedback, then the split continues until all the tags are completed the count; the tags of many branches are at least once split simultaneously when the tags of the subsets are split.

摘要: A method for compressing a user datagram protocol (UDP) data packet includes: when receiving an Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) UDP data packet, a compressor searching a context of the UDP data packet, if the context does not exist, creating the context of the UDP data packet, taking a value of an IP identifier (IP-ID) field of the UDP data packet as an initial value of a serial number (SN) of the context, and then compressing the UDP data packet according to the context. Also provided are methods and devices for compressing and decompressing a UDP data packet. The methods and devices can effectively improve the compression efficiency, reduce the probability of sending the IR/IRDYN packet, significantly reduce 1 byte transmission, improve the compression efficiency by 50%, and reduce the probability of using an extension header with a high capacity.

The transmitter comprises a sidelobe suppression module configured to apply a suppression matrix to an input vector comprising symbols to be transmitted by the transmitter; a modulation module configured to modulate the precoded vector to a time-domain symbol using a plurality of subcarriers, each symbol in the precoded vector having a corresponding subcarrier; and a digital-to-analog conversion module configured to convert the time-domain symbol to an analog waveform for transmission. The suppression matrix is constructed such that emissions at one or more predetermined suppression distances lying outside a frequency band defined by the subcarriers are set to zero according to a predetermined emission model.

摘要: Provided herein are immobilized liquid membranes for gas separation, methods of preparing such membranes and uses thereof. In one example, the immobilized membrane includes a porous metallic host matrix and an immobilized liquid fluid (such as a silicone oil) that is immobilized within one or more pores included within the porous metallic host matrix. The immobilized liquid membrane is capable of selective permeation of one type of molecule (such as oxygen) over another type of molecule (such as water). In some examples, the selective membrane is incorporated into a device to supply oxygen from ambient air to the device for electrochemical reactions, and at the same time, to block water penetration and electrolyte loss from the device.

摘要: The invention concerns a traffic surveillance system that is used to detect and track vehicles in video taken of a road from a low mounted camera. The inventors have discovered that even in heavily occluded scenes, due to traffic density or the angle of low mounted cameras capturing the images, at least one horizontal edge of the windshield is least likely to be occluded for each individual vehicle in the image. Thus, it is an advantage of the invention that the direct detection of a windshield on its own can be used to detect a vehicle in a single image. Multiple models are projected (206) onto an image with reference to different points in the image. The probability of each point forming part of a windshield is determined based on a correlation of the horizontal edges in the image with the horizontal edges of the windshield model referenced at that point (220). This probability of neighboring points is used to possible detect a vehicle in the image (224). Aspects of the invention include a method, software and traffic surveillance system.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for a mode transformation in a robust header compression, compression and decompression. The method for mode transformation includes: setting a mode parameter field in an IR compression package/IRDYN compression package of which a package formats is Profile2 and Profile3; after receiving a mode transformation request carrying an expected target mode, a compression party obtaining information about the expected target mode from the mode transformation request and sending out the information about the expected target mode by carrying that information in the mode parameter field in the IR/IRDYN compression package; after receiving a mode transformation reply, a decompression party obtaining mode parameter information from the mode parameter field in the IR/IRDYN compression package if judging that the IR/IRDYN compression package is used for the reply. The present invention can ensure that deadlock of the mode transformation will not occur on the original procedure.
