摘要： An apparatus for processing a frame structured data signal, the data signal comprising at least one data frame comprising a plurality of data elements arranged in accordance with a frame structure. The apparatus is arranged to generate a tag element for each data element, the configuration of the tag element corresponding to the position of the respective data element within the detected data frame. The apparatus further includes a data processor, arranged to perform one or more respective processing operations on one or more of the data elements, wherein the or each processing operation is determined by the configuration of the respective tag element. The apparatus enjoys the flexibility afforded by a data processor while having relatively low processing power requirements. As a result, it is capable of processing a relatively high volume of data in real time, and is programmable to support more than one frame structure and data rate thereby reducing development, implementation, field maintenance and upgrade costs.

摘要： A computer based system for displaying and compressing video including a video capture card with a video compressor and a bus interface circuit that acts as a busmaster and outputs uncompressed video and compressed video to a computer bus for display of the uncompressed video on the computer monitor and storage of the compressed video on a memory of the computer. The system also includes a software virtual interrupt generator that uses timer events provided by a computer system service and a transfer status indicator to generate interrupts to initiate transfer of a new block of video; an overlay controller implemented in software that transfers video from the video capture card over the computer bus to a graphics subsystem for display in a window on the computer monitor in an overlay mode; a display controller implemented in software that causes display of uncompressed video from the video capture card or software decompressed video; a software controller that compresses audio in software and sends video data to be compressed across the computer bus to the compressor; a controller that is implemented in software and calibrates startup delay of the audio input subsystem and uses the delay to synchronize the audio and video; and a user interactive input mechanism for adjusting the rates of compression within a range of acceptable rates that varies as a function of the output target medium for compressed video.

摘要： An arcjet thruster has a body defining a constrictor and nozzle constituting an anode and forming an arc chamber. An elongated rod constitutes a cathode spaced from the constrictor by a gap generally coextensive with the arc chamber. An electrical potential is applied to the anode and cathode to generate an electrical arc in the arc chamber from the cathode to the anode. Propellant is supplied to the arc chamber with generation of the arc so as to produce thermal heating and expansion of the propellant through the nozzle. The thruster employs several features which improve its performance. One feature relates to the use of propellant blends with high specific impulse additives. Another feature relates to injection of the high specific impulse additive into the bulk propellant feed at the region of the cathode tip. Still another feature relates to recirculation of a small fraction of propellant from the constrictor region of the arc chamber and injection thereof into the bulk propellant feed at the region of the cathode tip. A final feature relates to regeneration and reaction of the bulk propellant feed within the structure of the anode body and circulation to the region of the cathode tip.

The base plate has a pair of fixation apertures configured to receive at least a portion of the anchors therethrough. The fixation apertures are provided by example as elongated slots. The position sensor includes: a rotatable shaft adapted to engage a control gear of the clutch actuation control system; and an encoder having a position indicator adjustably coupled to the shaft and operable to detect the position of the shaft over a range of motion that is less than the range of movement exhibited by the control gear. The position indicator of the encoder is adjustable in relation to the shaft so that the range of motion detected by the encoder can be correlated to an area of interest within the range of motion exhibited by the control gear.
