摘要: A flexible, flame-retardant composite material includes a fabric layer; and at least one impregnated or coated Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) coating layer, which is integral with said fabric layer. The PVB coating layer contains 20 to 60% by weight of PVB, at least one plasticizer in an amount of 5 to 40% by weight of the coating layer, and at least one flame retardant in a total amount of 5 to 75% by weight with respect to the coating layer. A manufacturing method thereof is also described, and includes an impregnation or coating of a water-based dispersion of PVB onto the fabric layer, and a further curing.

摘要: The technology relates to plant-based materials that may be used as a substitute for animal leather. In some embodiments, the plant-based leather substitute material has properties and performances similar or equivalent to the properties and performances of animal leather. The plant-based leather substitute material includes a textile substrate, a plant-based resin, and a non-vulcanized natural rubber. The plant-based resin and the non-vulcanized natural rubber, once mixed, are provided on the textile substrate. The plant-based resin may made from castor seed oil. The plant-based leather substitute material has water vapor-permeability, water-impermeability properties, and abrasion resistance properties similar or equivalent to the water vapor-permeability, water-impermeability properties, and abrasion resistance properties of animal leather but does not contain any animal products or derivatives thereof.

摘要: A method of making an electrically conductive cotton material by incorporating conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) films into a base cotton substrate by drop casting or dip coating. Unlike most conventional methods that have typically included the use of templates such as metal oxide, carbon and/or silica nanoparticles, the polymerization of PEDOT:PSS in this method is not template-assisted. The amount of PEDOT:PSS used in the fabrication process controls the conductivity and sheet resistance of the conductive cotton material, and can be varied by the number of repeated drop casting or dip coating cycles.

A glove of the present invention has a fiber-made base having a shape of a hand of a person and a coating formed on a surface of at least a portion of the base, where a burning treatment is applied to the base, air tightness of a portion of the glove which has been applied with the burning treatment is maintained even when pressure of 9 kPa or higher is imparted to inside of the base, and the fiber-made base is formed of filament yarns.
