摘要: A coated filament for use in additive manufacturing includes a base polymer layer formed of a base polymer material and a coating polymer layer formed of a coating polymer material. At least the coating polymer material is susceptible to dielectric heating in response to electromagnetic radiation, thereby promoting fusion between adjacent beads of coated filament that are deposited during the additive manufacturing process. Specifically, when electromagnetic radiation is applied to an interface area between two adjacent beads of the coated filament, the polymer coating layer melts to diffuse across the interface area, thereby preventing formation of voids. The base polymer material and the coating polymer material of the coated filament also may have similar melting points and compatible solubility parameters to further promote fusion between beads.

摘要: A fabric-like material for reinforcement in an urethane foam molding is obtained by impregnating a part of a surface of a nonwoven fabric of organic fibers with a hot melt magnetic material and immobilizing the hot melt magnetic material. The hot melt magnetic material satisfies compositions described below and has a softening point of 70 to 100° C. Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A): 10 to 95% by mass. Wax (B): 0 to 30% by mass. Magnetic powder (C): 5 to 70% by mass. (The total of (A), (B) and (C) is 100% by mass.).

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for the surface treatment of a polyester fiber, a modified polyester fiber obtained therefrom, and an engineered cementitious composite containing such modified polyester fibers. The method comprises subjecting the polyester fiber to an alkali hydrolysis to obtain hydrolyzed polyester fiber; applying a solution containing an acid cross-linker and a polyvinyl alcohol to the hydrolyzed polyester fiber, then curing to form a coating having a thickness of sub-micron or micron scale on the polyester fiber, thereby obtaining the modified polyester fiber.

摘要: A filter medium is provided. A filter medium according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a fiber web layer of a three-dimensional network structure including nanofiber; and a hydrophilic coating layer which covers at least a part of the outer surface of the nanofiber. According to this, a flow rate can be remarkably increased due to the improved hydrophilicity of the filter medium. Also, as the improved hydrophilicity is maintained for a long period of time, the lifespan can be remarkably prolonged. Furthermore, since the modification of a porous structure of the filter medium is minimized during the process of hydrophilization so that the initially designed physical properties of the filter medium can be exhibited in its entirety, the filter medium having chemical resistance, excellent water permeability and durability can be variously applied in the water treatment field.

摘要: A nanofiber yarn that includes a plurality of nanofibers twisted into a yarn along an alignment axis. The nanofibers of the plurality of nanofibers have a ratio of nanofiber length to nanofiber circumference of at least 50. The yarn has a helix angle measured relative to the alignment axis of from 5° to 30°. The yarn has tensile strength of at least 280 MPa. A nanofiber fabric that includes a first sheet of multiwalled nanotubes and a second sheet of multiwalled nanotubes on the first sheet of multiwalled nanotubes. The multiwalled nanotubes of the first sheet are aligned in a first direction. The multiwalled nanotubes of the second sheet are aligned in the first direction. The first sheet and the second sheet are aligned so that the multiwalled nanotubes of the first sheet and the second sheet are both aligned in the first direction.
