    摘要: The invention refers to a method of correlating a plurality of service instances by a service composition entity, wherein the services are performed by one or a plurality of servers of a telecommunications network. Thereto, the service composition entity performs the steps of invoking a composite service instance corresponding to the service request, and generating a composite service identifier identifying this composite service instance, contacting the one or a plurality of application servers for invoking the plurality of component service instances, wherein the plurality of component service instances are associated to the composite service instance, and sending a first service report comprising an information about the composite service instance to a service supervision system, wherein this information enables the service supervision system to identify reports about the component service instances as being associated to the composite service instance. The invention further proposes a service composition entity for correlating the plurality of service instances, and a service supervision system for monitoring, supervising or controlling the composite service instance.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a telephone system comprises a plurality of terminal devices and a main unit. The terminal device realizes telephone communication via a packet-switched network. The main unit accommodates the terminal devices via the packet-switched network. Each of the terminal device comprises an update module, a storing unit, a read module and an access module. The update module updates firmware functioning inside the device in accordance with an instruction from the main unit. The storing unit stores access information for accessing an ante-unit, to which the terminal device is currently connected, before update of the firmware. The read module reads the access information from the storing unit after update of the firmware if an post-unit to which the terminal device is to be connected under the updated firmware differs from the ante-unit. The access module which accesses the ante-unit by using the read access information.

    摘要: A method, apparatus and system for provisioning a communication device in communication with a switch within a communication system is provided. A registration request is received from the communication device at the switch. A device identifier is assigned to the communication device, the device identifier uniquely identifying the communication device to the switch. An address identifier is derived for the communication device based on the device identifier and a string associated with at least the switch, such that the communication device is registered within the communication system via the address identifier in order to initiate and receive communications via the communication system. The device identifier, the string and the address identifier may be stored in a database in communication with the switch.

    摘要: A service execution environment for an advanced interactive voice response (IVR) service node. The service execution environment functions within a next generation service node (NGSN) IVR platform in a telecommunications network. The environment uses individual service-independent building blocks (SIBBs) that allow the creation of customer applications with simple references to the individual primitive SIBBs or composite SIBBs, with branching available. Functional calls to a sequence of SIBBs along with customer specific data stored in a database comprise a complete customer application. When a call is received by an IVR service node, the application is executed by calling the SIBBs to apply certain treatments to the call. The use of the SIBBs allows increased efficiency in the network because calls can be routed to any NGSN node. Each NGSN needs no customization to perform a particular customer application. The service execution environment decreases the time to market of new customer applications and decreases the turnaround time for modifications to existing customer applications.

The present application provides systems and methods that include sending a first message to a network core device, and identifying a profile from user account information stored on the network core device. The profile specifies which features and services may or may not be implemented by an end device. In the systems and methods of the present application, the profile is added to a second message that is sent from the network core device to the end device. Alternatively, a single message or multiple messages containing the profile, regardless and/or independent of any prior message sent from an end device, may be sent from the network core device to the end device. These systems and methods may also use the session initiation protocol for their communications, with the end devices being session initiation protocol phones and the network core device being a session initiation server.
