摘要: An air conditioner including an outside unit, which includes a compressor and an evaporator, an outside temperature sensor attached to the outside unit to sense outside temperature, an outside humidity recognition part attached to the outside unit to recognize information about outside humidity, a low pressure sensor that senses an evaporation pressure of the evaporator, and a control part that controls an operation of the compressor, based on both information about dew-point temperature sensed from the outside temperature sensor and the outside humidity recognition part and information about the evaporation pressure sensed from the low pressure sensor. The control part changes an operation frequency of the compressor according to whether the evaporation pressure is not lower than a preset reference low pressure, to prevent frosting of the evaporator.

摘要: A method for relative temperature preference learning is described. In one embodiment, the method includes identifying one or more current settings of a thermostat located at a premises, identifying one or more current indoor and outdoor conditions, calculating a current indoor differential between the current indoor temperature and the current target temperature, calculating a current outdoor differential between the current outdoor temperature and the current target temperature, and learning temperature preferences based on an analysis of the one or more current indoor conditions and the one or more current outdoor conditions. The one or more current settings of the thermostat include at least one of a current target temperature, current runtime settings, and current airflow settings. The one or more current indoor and outdoor conditions include at least one of a current temperature, current humidity, current indoor airflow, current atmospheric pressure, current level of precipitation, and current cloud cover.

摘要: Controlling heating and cooling in a conditioned space utilizes a fluid circulating in a thermally conductive structure in fluid connection with a hydronic-to-air heat exchanger and a ground heat exchanger. Air is moved past the hydronic-to-air heat exchanger, the air having fresh air supply and stale air exhaust. Sensors located throughout the conditioned space send data to a controller. User input to the controller sets the desired set point temperature and humidity. Based upon the set point temperature and humidity and sensor data, the controller sends signals to various devices to manipulate the flow of the fluid and the air in order to achieve the desired set point temperature and humidity in the conditioned space. The temperature of the fluid is kept less than the dew point at the hydronic-to-air heat exchanger and the temperature of the fluid is kept greater than the dew point at the thermally conductive structure.

摘要: An air conditioner having an outdoor unit provided with a compressor, an outdoor temperature sensor, an outdoor humidity recognition part, and a control part, wherein the outdoor temperature sensor is installed on the outdoor unit to sense outdoor temperature, wherein the outdoor humidity recognition part is installed on the outdoor unit to recognize outdoor humidity information, and wherein the control part controls an operation of the compressor based information sensed from the outdoor temperature sensor and the outdoor humidity recognition part, whereby when the outdoor temperature has a preset value, the control part determines target evaporation temperature such that the target evaporation temperature is decreased as outdoor humidity increases, and the control part drives the compressor at an operation frequency corresponding to the determined target evaporation temperature.

摘要: A method is provided for determining whether a future time period for performing a future process run is satisfactory. The process run employs process equipment disposed within an interior space. In a first step a relationship is obtained between an environmental condition within the interior space and an environmental condition exterior to the interior space. In a second step a future value representative of the environmental condition exterior to the interior space during the future time period is obtained. In a third step a predicted value representative of the environmental condition within the interior space during the future time period is determined by comparing the future value obtained in step (b) to the relationship obtained in step (a). Next the predicted value determined in step (c) is compared to a reference. It is then determined from the comparison whether the future time period for performing the future process run is satisfactory.

摘要: A system includes a controller, a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit, first and second dampers, and first and second pressure sensors. The first damper is positioned at a first air duct that supplies air from an exterior of a premises. The second damper is positioned at a second air duct that supplies air from an interior of the premises. The first pressure sensor is configured to detect an air pressure exterior to the premises. The second pressure sensor is configured to detect an air pressure within the premises. The controller is configured to receive the detected exterior air pressure and the detected interior air pressure, and the controller is configured to change the air pressure within the premises by adjusting at least one of the first damper and the second damper based on the detected exterior and interior air pressures.
