Abstract: A method includes routing a combustion gas through a turbine stage along a combustion gas path disposed between a turbine shaft and a turbine casing of a gas turbine, wherein the turbine shaft is disposed along a rotational axis, the turbine casing is disposed circumferentially about the turbine shaft, and the turbine stage includes a plurality of turbine vanes disposed upstream from a plurality of turbine blades. The method includes controlling an axial range of different axial positions of combustion within a turbine stage expansion of the turbine stage to reduce temperature variations over the turbine stage expansion via an isothermal expansion system coupled to the turbine stage in response to a change in a load on the gas turbine.

Abstract: Printed circuit boards (PCB) used to mechanically and electrically connect electrical components within an electronic device. Thin printed circuit boards (PCB) may be desirable to manufacturers and users of electronic devices. Accordingly, a process for manufacturing a printed circuit board may involve manufacturing a thin bilayer dielectric. The process may involve applying a first non-conductive layer to a metal substrate, and curing the first non-conductive layer to a C-stage resin layer that is fully cross-linked layer in a clean environment. In turn, a B-stage layer that is partially cured may be applied to the C-stage resin layer. Using a hot press, one or more metal traces may be pressed onto the B-stage layer. The B-stage resin layer may be fully cross-linked and integrated with the C-stage resin layer after lamination of the one or more metal traces and the B-stage resin layer.

Abstract: An electronic device may include an electronic display to display an image based on compensated image data in a panel space. The electronic device may also include image processing circuitry to generate the compensated image data. Further, generating the compensated image data may include determining a first inverse mapping of a pixel grid from the panel space to a rendering space and determining a forward mapping of the pixel grid from the rendering space to the panel space based on the first inverse mapping. The forward mapping may include corrections for multiple different warp operations stacked in a single warp operation. Additionally, the image processing circuitry may apply the forward mapping to input image data to generate the compensated image data.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, via at least one processor, a plurality of images representative of a property and determining whether two or more images of the plurality of images correspond to reference image data associated with the property. The method may then involve combining the images to generate a digitally stitched image that corresponds to the reference image data in response to the images corresponding to the reference image data and comparing the digitally stitched image to the reference image data to identify features associated with the property. The method may also involve updating a model representative of the property based on the features and generating an updated insurance policy associated with the property based on the model. Afterwards, the method may send a notification indicative of the updated insurance policy to a computing device.
