An AR image generator 526 employs, as a marker, a subject imaged by an imaging element that images the subject existing in a region including the field of view of a user who wears an optically transmissive HMD and is provided for the optically transmissive HMD, and generates an AR image to be presented by the optically transmissive HMD. A proximity acquirer 560 acquires the distance in a virtual three-dimensional space between a first AR image associated with a first marker and a second marker or a second AR image associated with the second marker. An interaction producer 570 calculates an interaction caused with the first AR image or the second AR image based on the distance acquired by the proximity acquirer 560. The AR image generator 526 changes at least either one image of the first AR image or the second AR image according to the interaction calculated by the interaction producer 570.

Disclosed herein is a simulation apparatus which simulates a position of each of plural objects, which move in a virtual space together with time, at each of plural time points of calculation. The apparatus includes: an object pair information acquisition unit acquiring plural pieces of information of object pairs each including, as components thereof, two objects which contact with each other at each of the plural time points of calculation; an allocation unit allocating, at each of the plural time points of calculation, each of the plural object pairs to one of plural groups such that two or more object pairs which include a common object do not belong to the same group; and a calculation unit calculating, at each of the plural time points of calculation, an influence of contact of two objects included in each of the plural object pairs upon positions of the two objects.

In an information processing apparatus, a map view is displayed. On the map view, an image which includes a thumbnail image of an image to be incorporated in a content and identification information added to the thumbnail image is applied as a processing section. Thumbnail images of images which are determined as a link source and a link destination by a link setting for image switching when a display area satisfies a link condition are connected to each other by a line. Further, an order of images between which an image is to be successively switched by an image forward feeding operation is defined by an array of thumbnail images in a sequence setting column. Further, the images are coupled using a dotted line or the like so as to represent a preceding-succeeding relationship thereof. A thumbnail image of an image or a line is operated to update a link setting file and a sequence setting file.

A first communication control unit and a second communication control unit share a single transmission and reception unit. The second communication control unit maintains connection with a terminal device while the first communication control unit is scanning frequency channels to search for an access point. When a search processing unit 104 detects an access point, the second communication control unit 200 switches the frequency channel for use in communication with the terminal device to the channel used in the detected access point.

A mobile information terminal includes a main information display control unit for displaying the information described on a specific page of electronic content presented to a user over a plurality of pages, a fore-edge display control unit for displaying an image of trimmed edges of the plurality of pages, as a fore-edge image, when the mobile information terminal is turned at a predetermined angle or more from a standard bearing, and an operation detector for detecting a trace operation from the user on the fore-edge image. When the trace operation on the fore-edge image is detected, the main information display control unit sequentially switches and displays the information described in a plurality of pages specified by the trace operation.
