摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for controlling a sound field through an array speaker. The method includes calculating a coefficient of a filter that controls sound pressure of an input signal, based on a sound pressure ratio of a suppression area that suppresses sound emitted from an array speaker and an emphasis area that emphasizes the sound, and sound pressure efficiency in the emphasis area, generating a plurality of output signals that focuses the sound to the emphasis area by filtering the input signal based on the calculated coefficient of the filter, and outputting a sound field controlled sound based on the generated plurality of output signals. Accordingly, a listener in a predetermined direction and distance from the array speaker can clearly hear sound, without wearing an earphone or a headset so as to focus the sound only to the listener.

摘要: Source transistor configurations are described for reducing leakage and delay within integrated circuits. Virtual power and ground nodes are supported with the use of stacked transistor configurations, such as a two transistor stack between a first virtual supply connection and VSS, and a second virtual supply connection and VDD. Gate drives of these stacked transistors are modulated with different voltage levels in response to the operating power mode of the circuit, for example active mode, active-standby mode, and deep power-down mode. Means for driving these source stacks are described. In one embodiment separate virtual nodes are adapted for different types of circuits, such as buffers, row address strobe, and column address strobe. Other techniques, such as directional placement of the transistors is also described.

摘要: Provided are a phase shifter with a photonic band gap (PBG) structure using a ferroelectric thin film. The phase shifter includes a microstrip transmission line acting as a microwave input/output line and a plurality of tunable capacitors arranged in the microstrip transmission line at regular intervals. Electrodes disposed on a substrate apply DC voltages to the plurality of tunable capacitors. Radio frequency (RF) chokes and quarter wavelength radial-stubs are connected between the electrodes and the microstrip transmission line in order to prevent high frequency signals from flowing into a DC bias terminal. A plurality of PBGS are periodically arrayed on a ground plane of the substrate.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a highly-durable electrode tool for electrochemical machining, which can prevent the corrosion and abrasion of a conductive pattern at the time of electrochemical machining for forming dynamic pressure-generating grooves of a fluid dynamic bearing, and a method of manufacturing the same. The electrode tool for electrochemical machining includes: an electrode substrate on which a conductive pattern is formed to have protrusions corresponding to the fine grooves and to which negative current is applied; a nonconductive insulating layer, covering an entire top surface of the electrode substrate excluding the conductive pattern; and a conductive layer, which is formed on the conductive pattern to protect the conductive pattern, and a top surface of which is the same height as a top surface of the nonconductive insulating layer.

摘要: A method and apparatus for outputting a sound source signal by using a virtual speaker are provided. The method includes generating a virtual sound source signal delayed by a virtual delay value, instead of by the minimum delay value, according to a sampling rate of an input sound source signal, from the input sound source signal; generating a speaker output signal in which a sampling rate is changed based on the input sound source signal and the generated virtual sound source signal; and outputting the generated speaker output signal. Thus, a non-uniform radiation pattern, which causes distortion in a sound radiated from a speaker array, is removed and the limitation of a frequency band of a controllable sound source signal is overcome, thereby providing a stable sound.

摘要: Provided are a method, medium and apparatus for enhancing an acoustic signal using an auditory property. An acoustic signal is enhanced by generating a plurality of harmonic signals based on a predetermined acoustic signal frequency, selecting harmonic signals, which exist in an area masked by the predetermined harmonic signal, from among the generated plurality of harmonic signals, and outputting harmonic signals remaining after excluding the selected harmonic signals from the generated plurality of harmonic signals. The enhancement results in a bass signal of good sound quality and having a low distortion ratio, without changing the structure of a micro speaker.
