    Abstract: Systems and method are provided for notifying an operator of a vehicle of reverse operation of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes: determining, by a processor, reverse direction operation of a first vehicle on a road; selectively generating, by a processor, notification data based on the reverse operation, map data, camera data, and speed data, wherein the notification data includes information to notify an operator of a second vehicle of the reverse operation; and selectively generating, by a processor, communication data based on the reverse operation, wherein the communication data includes information to notify at least one of a third vehicle and a remote transportation system of the reverse direction operation.

    Abstract: Method and systems for one-pedal driving (OPD) control for a vehicle. The methods and systems determine that regenerative braking is to be applied based on accelerator pedal stroke data, predict an upcoming deceleration event based on sensor data from a sensor system of the vehicle, thereby providing deceleration prediction data, adjust a default braking profile based on the deceleration prediction data, generate a regenerative braking command based on the accelerator pedal stroke data and the adjusted braking profile, and output the regenerative braking command to a motor/generator of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A system and method for generating an augmented navigational image for aligning a vehicle to a wireless charging pad includes capturing a first image in a forward longitudinal direction detecting a right parking space line and a left parking space line determining first distance between a wireless charging pad and the right parking space line and a second distance between the wireless charging pad and the left parking space line, generating an augmented navigational image in response to the first image and the second image wherein the augmented navigational image further includes a right longitudinal guidance line indicative of the first distance between a vehicle longitudinal axis and the right parking space line and a left longitudinal guidance line indicative of the second distance between the vehicle longitudinal axis and displaying the augmented navigational image on a vehicle navigation display.

    Abstract: A host vehicle includes a combustion engine configured to provide a propulsion torque to satisfy a propulsion demand. The vehicle also includes at least one sensor configured to detect a position of a reference vehicle. A vehicle controller is programmed to determine a path between a current host vehicle location and an upcoming intersection. The controller is also programmed to forecast a path clearance time at which the host vehicle is able to traverse the intersection in response to sensor data indicating the reference vehicle moving within the path ahead of the host vehicle. The controller is further programmed to deactivate the engine prior to a host vehicle stop based on the path clearance time being greater than a time threshold.

    Abstract: Embodiments include methods, systems and computer readable storage medium for determining receipt of a malicious message by a vehicle. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a message and determining, by the processor, a message type associated with the message. The method includes calculating, by the processor, an angle of arrival (AoA) for the message, wherein the AoA is an angle of receipt for the message. The method includes comparing, by the processor, the AoA to a message angle, wherein the message angle is an expected angle of receipt or angle range for the message based on the message type. The method includes flagging, by the processor, the message as being malicious in response to the comparison indicating that the AoA is not equivalent to or within a predetermined tolerance of the message angle. The method includes suppressing, by the processor, a notification or warning associated with the flagged message.
