Abstract: A method includes determining that the vehicle is approaching a garage and receiving a video from a garage camera and determining a frame difference per pixel with respect to time as the vehicle moves into the garage and counting a number of rows of pixels with no changes as the vehicle moves into the garage using the frame difference per pixel. Further, the method includes comparing the number of rows of pixels with no changes as the vehicle moves into the garage with a predetermined row threshold to determine whether the number of rows of pixels with no changes with respect to time as the vehicle moves into the garage is less than or equal to the predetermined row threshold and commanding a display to provide a notification indicative that the vehicle is properly parked in the garage.

Abstract: A hidden road parameter detection system is provided with a host vehicle. The system includes a remote vehicle having one or more remote input devices generating one or more remote input signals associated with data indicative of a host vehicle, the road parameter, and/or an obstruction blocking a line of sight between the host vehicle and the road parameter. The system further includes a computer having one or more processors and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions, such that the processor is programmed to compare a classification of the obstruction. The processor is further programmed to generate an actuation signal in response to the processor determining that the obstruction is blocking the line of sight from the host vehicle to the road parameter. The host vehicle includes one or more notification devices notifying an occupant of the host vehicle of the road parameter.

Abstract: A system for enhancing occupant awareness for a vehicle includes a display for displaying information to the occupant of the vehicle and a controller in electrical communication with the display. The controller is programmed to determine an activation state of the system. The activation state includes an activated state and a deactivated state. The controller is further programmed to determine a clearance distance between the vehicle and an object in an environment surrounding the vehicle in response to determining that the activation state is the activated state. The controller is further programmed to display a notification to the occupant of the vehicle based at least in part on the clearance distance.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a traffic light indication system (system) with one or more input devices for generating a status input signal associated with a status of a traffic light. The input devices further generate an overriding input signal associated with a hazardous driving condition. The system further includes a notification device for providing a traffic light notification to the user. The system further includes a computer having a processor and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium (CRM) storing instructions. The processor is programmed to generate an actuation signal based on the status input signal. The processor is further programmed to refrain from generating the actuation signal, in response to the processor determining the predicted collision based on the status input signal and the overriding input signal. The notification device provides the traffic light notification to the user, in response to the notification device receiving the actuation signal.

The observer vehicle identifies a communication identifier of the vehicle. The observer vehicle sends the message to be received by the vehicle using the communication identifier via a vehicle to everything (V2X) communication module.

Abstract: A system for detecting and mitigating window condensation for a vehicle includes an interior camera and a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The system also includes a controller in electrical communication with the interior camera and the HVAC system. Abstract: A cross-traffic warning system for a motor vehicle includes first and second input devices transmitting associated first and second input signals for first and second detected objects positioned on the roadway. The system further includes a computer having one or more processors and a computer readable medium storing instructions. The processor is programmed to determine that the first object is a Vulnerable Road User (“VRU”) travelling on a first path based on the first input signal. The processor is further programmed to determine that the second object is a third party vehicle and further that the VRU and the third party vehicle are travelling on an associated one of first and second paths to imminently collide with one another based on the first and second input signals. The processor is further programmed to generate an actuation signal in response to the processor determining the imminent collision.
