摘要: The method includes binding living cells to magnetic particles, adding them to a sensor array, uniformly distributing over the sensor array, magnetically fixing the magnetic particles having the bound cells over the sensor array, and adding substances to maintain and/or improve the cell vitality to the sensory array, and/or adding substances to worsen the cell vitality to the sensor array. The assembly includes a sensor array composed of sensors, which are designed to be in direct fluidic contact with a fluid, and a device for generating a magnetic field over the sensor array. A layer that comprises magnetic particles and living cells is formed on the sensor array.

摘要: An injection apparatus for injecting hot plastics material into an injection mold has an actuator section forming an actuator chamber and a nozzle member connected to the actuator section and extending to a nozzle tip having an injection aperture. The nozzle member includes an injection passage system for conducting the hot plastics material to the injection aperture. An elongate valve pin extends through a guide passage in the nozzle member and is movable between open and closed positions. A piston is connected to this pin, is slidably mounted in the actuator chamber and moves the valve pin between the open and closed positions. The piston and actuator section are machined to close tolerances so as to form a micro-gap between the wall of the piston and the wall of the chamber thereby avoiding fluid seals. The actuator is able to operate at temperatures ranging between 200 and 400° C.

摘要: A method for injecting a fluid, in particular a fuel, performs the following steps: A nozzle (1) which can be actuated by a piezo element (5) is provided. A current pulse (12a) is supplied to the piezo element (5). The capacity (16) of the piezo element (5) is recorded at the time when the current pulse (12a) is supplied. An actual characteristic curve of the injection is recorded based on the capacity (16). The current pulse (12a) is regulated in order to optimize the injection based on the actual characteristic curve of the injection.

摘要: The aim of the invention is to obtain filter tows or filtering materials for manufacturing filters for smoking products which make it possible to prevent or at least reduce health risks due to the release of the filter components and external contamination of cigarettes by filter components. According to the invention, a filter element is manufactured of starch and/or a mixture of a starch-based polymer and eventually incorporated activated-carbon layers and provided with pores and/or channels. The filter particles eventually adherent to such filtering materials or released during cigarette smoking can be dissolved in a corresponding moisture-containing environment. They do not come into consideration for health-damaging effects.

摘要: To optimize the results of rounding and therefore to optimize the high pressure resistance of the component, it is firstly proposed that prior to the machining step of hydro-erosive rounding, the edge (5) and the surfaces (4, 6) of the high pressure-resistant component (1) which adjoin the edge (5) are each placed under compressive stresses in the region of their surface by means of a grinding and/or honing process. Also with regard to the method, and with regard to an apparatus for the hydro-erosive rounding, it is proposed that a closure element (9) is inserted into the continuing first bore (2), downstream of the second bore (3), which branches off from the first bore, as seen in the main direction of flow (S) of the liquid (8) mixed with abrasives (7), in order to divert the liquid (8) mixed with abrasives (7) from the first bore (2) into the second bore (3).
