摘要: A loud-speaker telephone set includes a switching control circuit to attenuate the incoming signal, during transmission, and to attenuate the outgoing signal, during reception, in order to prevent feedback from the loud-speaker to the microphone. An automatic gain control circuit is added which detects at least one of the incoming signal level and the outgoing signal level and which adjusts the attenuation of both the incoming and outgoing signals so as to reduce the attenuation change between reception and transmission below 20 dB and eliminate the unpleasant sensation, to a user, of large attenuation changes.

摘要: Method for forming thin films on a substrate by using a mask through dry process wherein the substrate and the mask are moved relative to each other at least once for the formation of a thin film before the thickness of the thin film being formed on the substrate reaches a predetermined value, so that the formed thin film has an outer edge partly or entirely contoured stepwise.

摘要: A method of providing a composite sheet material which has soft and pliable hand characteristics, despite being dense, and also high resistance against discoloration and deterioration. The method comprises impregnating and/or coating a fibrous sheet with a mixture of (A) a polyurethane elastomer containing a sterically hindered amino group within its molecular chain, (B) a compound selected from the group consisting of a polybasic acid and its halide, metal salt and ammonium salt, wherein one or more hydrogen atoms remain unreacted, which amount of (B) is within the range of 0.8-5 molar equivalents relative to the sterically hindered amino group, and (C) a solvent for the polyurethane elastomer (A), and subjecting the resulting material to wet coagulation.

摘要: Compounds of formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein R represents a group of formula ##STR2## and the corresponding ring-closed lactones, salts (especially alkali metal salts) and esters (especially C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl esters) thereof may be prepared by subjecting ML-236B, or ML-236B carboxylic acid or a salt or ester thereof to enzymatic hydroxylation, which may be effected by means of microorganisms of the genera Mucor, Rhizopus, Zygorynchus, Circinella, Actinomucor, Gongronella, Phycomyces, Martierella, Pycnoporus, Rhizoctonia, Absidia, Cunninghamella, Syncephalastrum and Streptomyces, or cell-free, enzyme-containing extracts from said microorganisms. The compounds are capable of inhibiting biosynthesis of cholesterol and are thus useful in the treatment of hypercholesteraemia.

摘要: A heat-aging-resistant rubbery polymer composition comprising a rubbery polymer, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of diphenylamine derivatives and phenol derivatives as an age resister for said rubbery polymer, and polyalkylene ether glycol having an average molecular weight of 100-5,000, and optionally a compound represented by the formula, ##STR1## in which R is alkyl having 10 to 20 carbon atoms. Preferably, said at least one compound selected from the group consisting of diphenylamine derivatives and phenol derivatives is chemically linked to said rubbery polymer as a part of the molecular chain. Said rubbery polymer composition is unexpectedly superior in heat-aging-resistance to a composition consisting only of said rubbery polymer and said age resister or a composition consisting only of said rubbery polymer and said polyalkylene ether glycol.
