摘要： There is provided such a shape of a light-guiding body that can guide light emitted from a LED while reflecting such light under conditions which satisfy total reflection as much as possible within the light-guiding body, to thereby improve the light intensity on the surface of a document in the shorter axial direction (i.e., the sub-scanning direction), and also, the light-guiding body has such an optimized shape of a light-incoming face that makes it possible to control the angle of light fluxes in the longer axial direction (i.e., the main scanning direction) to thereby illuminate the surface of the document with light having an uniform intensity distribution. Further, a reflecting member is provided at a position opposite the light outgoing face of the light-guiding body so as to improve the efficiency of illuminating an objective image-reading region on the surface of the document.

Then, a comparison is made between extracted data and the telephone number stored in the storage means 104. Then, reading of the address of the portion in which image data has been stored is controlled to extract image data in a corresponding memory card 103. Extract image data is transferred to a display portion 101 so as to be displayed.

For example, by drying a hydrous crystal of said compound at a temperature of 80° C. or above under reduced pressure, an anhydrous crystal is provided that exhibits a weight increase of 1% or less when stored under the relative humidity of 83% at the temperature of 25° C. for 30 days. By using the anhydrous crystal for the manufacture of a medicament comprising the compound as an active ingredient, a product with a constant content of the active ingredient can be obtained.

A 2nd telephone apparatus comprises a transmission and receiving systems, 1st and 2nd switches, a memory circuit, and a voice presence detector for detecting the presence of the voice SIG of the transmission system, the 1st switch stores the voice SIG from the voice SIG from the transmission system prior to the voice SIG from the receiving system. The 2nd switch provides a playback from the voice SIG from the network directly and from the memory circuit. The 2nd telephone apparatus may further comprise a frame condition detector for detecting a frame condition, a data adder for adding data indicative of the frame condition to reception SIG, and a memory control circuit. The memory control circuit inhibits recording according to the frame condition.

摘要： A pump absorbs ink from nozzles of an ink-jet head by increasing an internal space of the pump and discharges the ink by decreasing the internal space. A valve has an absorbing path formed therein and a discharging groove formed thereon, and passes through a wall of the pump. A communicating unit communicates with a first end of the absorbing path of the valve and causes the nozzles of the ink-jet head to communicate with the internal space of the pump through the absorbing path. When the pump absorbs ink from the nozzles of the ink-jet head, the valve moves through the wall of the pump so that a second end of the absorbing path is exposed to the internal space of the pump, and the pump increases the internal space. When the pump discharges ink, the valve moves through the wall of the pump so that the second end of the absorbing path is opened externally and the discharging groove is aligned with the wall of the pump, and the pump decreases the internal space.
