Abstract:
An interconnect bandwidth throttler is disclosed. The interconnect bandwidth throttler turns off the interconnect, based on whether a maximum number of transactions has taken place within a predetermined throttle window. Both the maximum number of transactions and the throttle window are adjustable. Characteristics such as performance, thermal considerations, and average power are adjustable using the interconnect bandwidth throttler.
Abstract:
The invention relates to substantially surfactant free gel compositions comprising hydrophobic and hydrophilic benefit agents. Unexpectedly, the applicants have found these agents deposit with greater substantivity from such liquid gel compositions relative to surfactant-containing lotion.
Abstract:
The invention comprises a liquid lamellar composition comprising surfactant, a specific lamellar structuring system, emollient, and specific structurant.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for dual-target register allocation is described, intended to enable the efficient mapping/renaming of registers associated with instructions within a pipelined microprocessor architecture.
Abstract:
In some embodiments, a power up (or power mode) interface is provided whereby a chip's power up signals are encoded into multiple states to provide more functions than the number of signals used to define the states.
Abstract:
This invention relates to rinse-off skin conditioning compositions comprising relatively low amounts of oil/emollient and relatively low amounts of aqueous phase stabilizer/structurant. Use of unsaturated fatty acid (or at least minimum amount of unsaturated fatty acid as percentage of total fatty acid) has been found to result in unexpectedly high hydration. In a second embodiment, use of branched fatty acid (at minimum amount branched as percentage of total) also results in superior hydration. Also mixtures of unsaturated and branched fatty acids can be used.In a second embodiment, the invention relates to method of enhancing hydration using compositions as noted.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to substantially surfactant-free liquid compositions comprising moderate levels of oil. By limiting amount of oil and using aqueous phase structuring agent, it is possible to provide stable and optionally translucent compositions.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus if described herein for accessing a physical memory location referenced by a physical address with a processor. The processor fetches/receives instructions with references to virtual memory addresses and/or references to physical addresses. Translation logic translates the virtual memory addresses to physical addresses and provides the physical addresses to a common interface. Physical addressing logic decodes references to physical addresses and provides the physical addresses to a common interface based on a memory type stored by the physical addressing logic.
Abstract:
Normalizing security event data from multiple different network agents. The data from the multiple different agents is categorized and tagged with a descriptor that includes information about the nature of the event. Multiple different events from multiple different devices can therefore be evaluated using a common format which is common for the multiple different devices from different vendors.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to beauty wash bar compositions which deliver enhanced visual benefits to the skin with specific optical attributes. This is accomplished using specific deposition systems and/or by ensuring dispersion of particles onto skin.
