摘要: The present invention relates to a net/wiring selection method for selecting, from among nets/wirings wired on the basis of layout information, a net/wiring whose layout is to be changed with priority in order to improve a delay. To enable efficient elimination of a critical path, the method is arranged to include a wiring capacitance lower limit computation step for computing wiring capacitance lower limits on the basis of layout information; an inter-wiring capacitance computation step for computing, as an inter-wiring capacitance, a difference between a real wiring capacitance and the wiring capacitance lower limit; a parallel wiring length extraction step for extracting a parallel wiring length existing between adjacent wirings of the respective wirings; and a selection step for selecting a net/wiring whose layout is to be changed, on the basis of the inter-wiring capacitance, the parallel wiring length, and a slack value.

摘要: A radar device which is installed in a vehicle or the like needs to detect a target at a short distance from several tens of centimeters to several tens of meters and, therefore, has a problem that a reflected wave from the target may be reflected by a front case of the radar device and then reflected by the target again to be received as a secondary echo by itself. To solve this problem, it is an object of the present invention to provide a radar device again that can prevent multi-reflection to accurately measure a distance to a target in a short range. In a radar device according to the present invention, a surface of a frame body provided around a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna is shaped so that a reflected wave from a target may not be returned in a direction in which a transmitting wave is transmitted from the transmitting antenna.

摘要: A moving picture conversion apparatus converts first moving image data encoded in accordance with a first motion compensated prediction method into second moving picture data that has a same format as data encoded in accordance a second motion compensated prediction method. The moving picture conversion apparatus determines whether a relationship between a block in the second motion compensation method and an image used as a reference image with respect to the block confirms with a condition. When the relationship is determined to conform with the condition, the moving picture conversion apparatus performs encoding using a motion vector or vectors of the first moving image data corresponding to the block.

摘要: In an image recording apparatus, reference patterns are provided on a surface of a transport belt that transports a recording medium such as paper attracted thereto to image recording sections defined by recording heads. It is arranged such that the reference patterns are detected while being transported as the transport belt is driven, and a speed change of the transport belt and a position shift in a direction perpendicular to the transporting direction of the transport belt are calculated based on information resulting from the detection, thereby controlling ejection timing and ejection position of ink droplets ejected from the recording heads.

摘要: A method for automatic identification of a hair region is provided wherein edges are identified from an original image including a face and hair, the direction and length of the lines which form each individual edge are stored, line bundles in which lines of the same direction are gathered are searched, the color of the line bundles is established to be the hair color, line tracing is performed to identify lines which connect to line bundles and also have afore-mentioned hair color, and the pixels on the identified lines are established to be the hair region. A hair color simulation image is formed by changing the hair region, automatically identified in this manner, to a specified hair color.
