Abstract: A beam-control member has a substantially cylindrical holder that is light-permeable, and a first beam-control member disposed on an end surface of the holder, the first beam-control member reflecting part of the light emitted from a light-emitting element and admitting part of the light. A guide protrusion and a tab are provided on the end surface of the holder. A concave portion corresponding to the tab is provided on an outer circumferential part of one surface of the first beam-control member. The first beam-control member is radially mated in a rotatable manner along the guide protrusion. Rotating the first beam-control member on the end surface of the holder so that the tab and the concave portion engage causes the first beam-control member to be secured on the end surface of the holder.

Abstract: An electric component socket in which a pressing member is not brought into contact with the tip end of the a contact pin when the socket is pressed by the pressing member in a state where an electric component is not housed in the socket. The electric component socket is provided with a movable plate supported so as to move vertically, a floating plate that is provided above the movable plate and houses the electric component, and a movable spacer that protrudes upward from an upper surface of the movable plate. The electric component socket is configured so that the movable plate is thereby moved downward, thereby enabling the regulating section of the movable plate to move the contact pin downward when the movable spacer is moved downward.

Abstract: A resin helical gear is formed by setting a first machining reference line obliquely coupling a tooth tip side of a first tooth to a tooth root side of a second tooth on another end side in the tooth width direction along a tooth surface, and a second machining reference line obliquely coupling a tooth tip side of the second tooth to a tooth root side of the first tooth along the tooth surface. Then, the tooth surface is cut out from the first machining reference line to the tooth root of the first tooth while the tooth surface is cut out from the second machining reference line to the tooth root of the second tooth. Then, an involute tooth profile form is left on a tooth tip side of the tooth with respect to the first machining reference line and the second machining reference line.

A method of manufacturing the light flux controlling member includes forming one of the grid convex part and the grid concave part integrally with a main body of the light flux controlling member by integral molding using a mold having a shape corresponding to one of the grid convex part and the grid concave part.
