Abstract:
An absolute steering angle of a steering shaft for a vehicle is measured using rotatable bodies that rotate together with the steering shaft at respective predetermined rotation ratios. A ΨM′ value is obtained by measuring a relative rotational angle Ψ′ of a first rotatable body and a θM′ value is obtained by measuring the relative rotational angle θ′ of a second rotatable body. θC's are obtained by calculating relative rotational angles θ's of the second rotatable body corresponding to the ΨM′ value, using the relation between Ψ′ and θ′. A frequency i-value of the first rotatable body is obtained by comparing the θCs to the θM′ value. An absolute steering angle Φ1 of the steering shaft is obtained based on the relation between absolute rotational angles Ψ and Φ, after Ψ is obtained using the i-value.
Abstract:
The purging of photoresist from a supply device of semiconductor coating equipment is automatically executed in a controlled manner. The equipment employs a plurality of photoresist bottles for storing the same kind of photoresist. A plurality of supply pipes are respectively connected to the photoresist bottles, respectively. A valve system selectively opens and closes the supply pipes in response to control signals generated by a main controller. A dispense pump forces the photoresist in the open supply pipe through a nozzle. A purge start button issues a purge start command signal to the controller when the button is pressed. The controller then controls the valve system and the dispense pump so as to automatically purge the photoresist according to a sequence effected using a timer.
Abstract:
A method is provided for measuring an absolute steering angle Φ of a steering shaft for a vehicle, using a first rotatable body that rotates together with the steering shaft of the vehicle at a predetermined rotation ratio. The method includes obtaining a ΨM′ value by measuring a relative rotational angle Ψ′ of the first rotatable body using an angle sensor having a measurement range of Ω. The method also includes obtaining a present value for a frequency i-value of the first rotatable body by comparing the present ΨM′ value to a previous ΨM′ value. The method also includes obtaining a present value for a absolute steering angle Φ1 of the steering shaft from a present value for an absolute rotational angle Ψ of the first rotatable body by using the ψM′ value and the present i-value.

Disclosed is a frame structure in a high-speed wireless personal area network (WPAN) and a message transmitting method thereof which enable communications among devices existing in different piconets by using a device that provides a bridging function in the IEEE 802.15.3 WPAN. In a high-speed WPAN system which includes a parent piconet having a plurality of devices and a child piconet using time slots allocated by the devices located in the parent piconet, and a bridge device located in the child piconet, that broadcasts information about the devices of the parent piconet and information about the devices of the child piconet to the devices included in the high-speed WPAN, and operates to perform a data transfer between a first specified device in the child piconet and a second specified device in the parent piconet. A specified device included in the high-speed WPAN constructs a MAC (Media Access Control) header data structure for a data transmission so that the data structure includes a source piconet identification (ID) field for indicating the piconet to which the specified device belongs, and a destination piconet ID field for indicating the destination piconet to which the destination device, to which the specified device intends to transmit data, belongs.
Abstract:
A level shifter includes an input buffer, a level shifting circuit, a voltage level detecting circuit, an output buffer and a reference logic circuit. The input buffer buffers a small range input signal to output a small range signal. The level shifting circuit transforms the small range signal into a first wide range signal. The voltage level detecting circuit detects whether a power voltage of a low voltage stage is at the ground level, and prevents an indefinite logic state of the level shifter. The output buffer buffers the first wide range signal to output a second wide range signal. The reference logic circuit generates a wide range signal having a predetermined logic status when the power voltage is at the ground level. Thus, a leakage current of the level shifter is reduced.
