Abstract: A method and a user equipment (UE) configured for dual priority for controlling a backoff timer are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes transmitting a first non access stratum (NAS) request message without an access point name (APN) including a low priority indicator set to a first value to a network node; receiving a reject message for the NAS request message from the network node; initiating a session management (SM) backoff timer in response to the reject message; and transmitting a second NAS request message including the low priority indicator set to a second value to the network node while the SM backoff timer is running. The first value of the low priority indicator indicates that the UE is configured for NAS signaling low priority. The second value of the low priority indicator indicates that the UE is not configured for NAS signaling low priority.

Abstract: A method of controlling an access, which is controlled by a Mobility Management Entity (MME) of a control plane in a visited network; and the MME therefore are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving an access request message or an update request message requested by a roaming user equipment (UE) from a Home (e)Node B; and determining Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) information among first CSG information and second CSG information based on predefined priority information when the first CSG information conflicts with the second CSG information. The predefined priority information indicates that the first CSG information takes precedence over the second CSG information. The method further includes transmitting an accept message based on the determined CSG information via the Home (e)Node B. The first CSG information is CSG-related information defined in a home network and the second CSG information is CSG-related information in the visited network.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present specification provides a method by which a user equipment (UE) reselects a network node in charge of a control plane. The method can comprise the steps of: retransmitting, by the UE, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message if the UE transmitted the NAS request message to a network node in charge of the control plane through a base station but has not received a response message; transmitting, by the UE, an access stratum (AS) message, which includes an indication showing no response from the network node, to the base station if the retransmission of the NAS request message has repeated by a preset value or more; and reselecting another network node in charge of the control plane instead of the network node in a disabled state if information indicating that the network node is in the disabled state is received from the base station.

Abstract: A method for supporting a voice service of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system; and a Mobility Management Entity (MME) apparatus therefore. The method according to one embodiment includes transmitting an update location request (ULR) message to a home subscriber server (HSS); and transmitting a Notify Request message including a single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) capability, when the MME determines that the SRVCC capability is changed. If the MME knows a homogeneity of support of an IMS voice over PS session in all TAs (Tracking areas) or all RAs (Routing Areas) related to the MME, the ULR message includes an information element. If the MME fails to know the homogeneity of support of the IMS voice over PS session due to a lack of information including Voice over IMS related capability information of the UE, the ULR message does not include the information element.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method for selecting an access network in a wireless communications system and an apparatus therefor. In a wireless communications system, a method for a terminal to select an access network according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving the policy information of a first network; receiving the policy information of a second network; determining the load value of a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) access network; and comparing the load value with a predetermined reference value so as to determine whether the WLAN access network is overloaded. The predetermined value can be determined by comparing first reference information for determination of the WLAN access network overload contained in the policy information of the first network with second reference information for determination of the WLAN access network overload contained in the policy information of the second network.

Abstract: Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method for transmitting a detection signal from user equipment (UE). The method comprises the steps of: driving a mobility management (MM) delay time timer, when the MM delay time timer is received by the UE from a mobility management entity (MME) in a network; confirming the priority for detecting at least one other UE, when detection of the at least one other UE is required before the MM delay time timer expires; and randomly selecting a resource based on a shared resource pool included in system information, which is broadcasted from a base station, and then transmitting to the at least one other UE a detection signal including a proximity service code from the randomly selected resource, when the detection of the at least one other UE is considered to have high priority or to be urgent.
