    摘要: A method for interleaved multi-dimensional encoding, the method may include receiving or generating a first version of a group of bits and a second version of the group of bits, wherein the first and second versions differ from each other by an arrangement of bits of the group of bits; and encoding the first and second versions of the groups of bits in an interleaved manner; wherein the encoding comprises calculating at least one codeword component of the first version by encoding a set of bits of the first version and at least a portion of a redundancy of at least one data entity of the second version and calculating at least one codeword component of the second version by encoding a set of bits of the second version and at least a portion of a redundancy of at least one data entity of the first version.

    摘要: An interleaving apparatus, a computer-readable recording medium, and a method for interleaving data elements comprised in data frame which are transmitted via a channel for error dispersion are provided. The interleaving apparatus includes a block division unit that divides a given page of the data frame including two-dimensional array data into a plurality of data block units, and an interleaving unit that performs interleaving at least between two of the plurality of data blocks units, which are divided by the block division unit. A first block unit in the plurality of data block units is set as a reference interleaving block unit, and first data in the first block unit and second data in a second block unit are interleaved. The first block unit and the second block unit are included in the plurality of data block units, and the first block unit is different from the second block unit.

    摘要: A method is dedicated to encoding data that must be transmitted by means of a wave-based transmission infrastructure, and comprises i) a step consisting of creating in parallel M first matrices having T rows and C columns with subsets of data from B successive received bursts, the subsets of data from each burst being distributed within at least two successive first matrices, ii) a step consisting of creating in parallel M second matrices each having T rows and N columns with parity symbols resulting from encoding the data that is respectively contained in the rows of each of the M first matrices, iii) a step consisting of creating in parallel M first matrices having K rows and C columns with parity symbols resulting from encoding the data that is respectively contained in the columns of each of the M first matrices, and iv) a step consisting of distributing by interlacing, firstly, J subsets of parity symbols from each second matrix into J successive sets, and secondly P subsets of parity symbols from each third matrix into P of these successive sets, and of placing into each of the successive sets the respective data from the successive received bursts.

    摘要: Encoder and decoder apparatus and methods derive a plurality of parity bits from a single codeword. Encoder apparatus may include a receive module receiving a data stream, a parity generation module generating a plurality of parity bits based on the data stream and a word of a tensor-product code, and a parity insertion module combining the plurality of parity bits and the data stream to generate encoded bits. Decoder apparatus may include a detector receiving and outputting encoded data, a first decoder generating first log-likelihood ratios (LLRs) from the encoded data, an error recovery module generating second LLRs from the encoded data, a second decoder that derives syndrome data from the first and second LLRs, a post-processor that combines data from the first decoder with error events from the error recovery module to generate corrected data, the post-processor further identifying a plurality of parity bits in the corrected data.
