Abstract: A battery cell includes: a housing; an electrode unit accommodated in the housing and including a first electrode assembly and a second electrode assembly which are disposed along a first direction, wherein the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly are arranged in parallel, the first electrode assembly includes a first body and a first tab, and the second electrode assembly includes a second body and a second tab, and wherein a polarity of the first tab is the same as a polarity of the second tab, and at least a part of the first tab and at least a part of the second tab are located between the first body and the second body; and a first electrode terminal disposed on the housing and electrically connected to the first tab and the second tab to export electric energies of the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly.

Abstract: Some embodiments of this application disclose a battery and an electrical device. The battery includes: a battery cell, where a pressure relief mechanism is disposed on a first wall of the battery cell; and a protection plate, where the protection plate is disposed opposite to the pressure relief mechanism. The protection plate is a polymer-based composite fiberboard. The technical solution provided in this application can protect a box of the battery from airflow impact and high-temperature melting arising from thermal runaway of the battery, thereby enhancing safety performance of the battery.

The bare cell of this cell forms a structure that is high in the middle and low at edges, and a liquid level height of an electrolyte solution in the housing is below the middle region of the bare cell and above extension ends.

Abstract: An electrode assembly, a secondary battery, a battery pack, and an electrical apparatus. In the electrode assembly, there are several electrode plate portions sequentially arranged in a laminated manner along its own thickness direction. During structural design, the current collector in at least one of the electrode plate portions is configured as a barrier, and by controlling the ratio between the thermal conductivity λ0 of the barrier and the thickness d0 of the barrier to be less than 3×107 W/(K*m2), the heat flux density of the barrier along the thickness direction of the electrode assembly is reduced and the thermal resistance is increased, thus forming an effective thermal barrier in the thickness direction of the electrode assembly.
