    Abstract: A battery and an electric apparatus are described. The battery includes a firefighting pipe and a plurality of battery cells provided with a pressure relief mechanism. The pressure relief mechanism is configured to be actuated and release internal pressure in a first direction when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold; the firefighting pipe is arranged on a side of the plurality of battery cells that is provided with the pressure relief mechanism, and is disposed in a staggered manner with the pressure relief mechanism; and the firefighting pipe is provided with a drainage opening, where the drainage opening is configured to discharge a firefighting medium toward the pressure relief mechanism when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so as to cool the battery cell. The battery allows the firefighting medium to more quickly cool a battery cell, thereby improving safety of the battery.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a battery and an electric apparatus, where the battery includes: a plurality of battery cells; a heat exchange pad, disposed between two adjacent battery cells and configured to exchange heat with the battery cells; and a cooling pipe, configured to deliver cooling fluid, and the cooling pipe is provided with a plurality of outlets. The heat exchange pad is provided with inlets corresponding to the outlets, and the cooling pipe is configured to deliver the cooling fluid to the inlets of the heat exchange pad through the outlets. A flow channel that communicates with the inlets is further provided on the heat exchange pad, and the flow channel is configured to accommodate the cooling fluid to exchange heat between the cooling fluid and the battery cells. The technical solutions of the embodiments of this application can enhance the safety of the battery.
