Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook determination in a fifth-generation (5G) new radio (NR) network may decode a downlink control information (DCI) format received from a generation Node B (gNB). When the DCI format triggers HARQ-ACK codebook retransmission, the UE may determine a HARQ-ACK codebook to be retransmitted based on a time-offset indicated in the DCI format. To determine the HARQ-ACK codebook to be retransmitted, the UE may determine an uplink (UL) slot that included an initial transmission of the HARQ-ACK codebook based on subtracting the time-offset from the DL slot that included the DCI. The UE may also encode a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) to include the HARQ-ACK codebook determined to be retransmitted in a UL slot based on a slot offset.

Abstract: An apparatus and system are described to provide enhanced Type-3 HARQ-ACK codebook transmission are described. A gNB configures a UE for hybrid automatic repeat request HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) (HARQ-ACK) retransmission using the enhanced Type-3 codebook using radio resource control signaling. The LTE may use the PUCCH resource for the higher priority HARQ-ACK bits to multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits.

Abstract: Systems and methods for PDCCH monitoring in NR systems. The UE provides to a serving cell UE capability information indicating a capability of the UE to monitor PDCCH. The UE capability information indicates a carrier aggregation capability larger than multiple serving cells and has a maximum number indication for a maximum number of PDCCH candidates that the UE can monitor per span. The serving cell transmits an RRC message to a UE in response to the UE capacity information. The RRC message has a per-slot and/or per-span indication to monitor PDCCHs on the serving cell for a maximum number of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapping CCEs. The UE monitors PDCCH candidates and, in the event that a span contains larger than a maximum number of PDCCH candidates or non-overlapping CCEs across multiple served cells, determines whether to monitor a particular PDCCH candidate in the span.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for New Radio (NR) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) (NR V2X) sidelink transmission in a fifth generation (5G) network may determine a transport block size (TBS) for transmission of a transport block (TB) within a current sidelink slot. The UE is configured to encode a physical sidelink shared channel (PSCCH) for transmission within the current sidelink slot. The PSCCH may be encoded to include sidelink control information (SCI). The SCI may indicate a reservation of physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) resources within up to three sidelink slots including the current sidelink slot 102. To determine the TBS, the UE may determine number of resource elements (REs) within the current sidelink slot 102 that are available for transmission of the PSSCH by excluding certain REs of the current sidelink slot. For transmission of the TB within multiple transmission time intervals (TTIs), the UE may be configured to encode the SCI to indicate a reservation of PSSCH resources for each of the multiple TTIs within the current scheduling window.
