摘要： A rotational position sensor having a compact and simple structure, in which a magnetic surface can be formed to have a more accurate shape, and an electronically controlled throttle device for an internal combustion engine, which employs the rotational position sensor. The rotational position sensor comprises a pair of substantially half disk-shaped magnetic cores disposed in an opposed relation to each other with a magnetic sensitive device interposed therebetween, a pair of substantially arc-shaped magnetic cores disposed in an opposed relation to each other along outer peripheries of the half disk-shaped magnetic cores, and a permanent magnet fixed in contact with at least one of the arc-shaped magnetic cores. Magnetic flux generating from the permanent magnet flows successively through one of the arc-shaped magnetic cores, the half disk-shaped magnetic cores, and the other of the arc-shaped magnetic cores, followed by returning to the permanent magnet. The half disk-shaped magnetic cores or the permanent magnet is rotatable, and the magnetic sensitive device detects an amount of the magnetic flux varying with rotation of the half disk-shaped magnetic cores or the permanent magnet.

摘要： A polarized electromagnetic actuator device advantageous for single-stable armature operation comprises an armature pivotally supported for movement between two different angularly displaced positions about a pivot axis and an electromagnet with a pair of opposed pole members extending toward the ends of the armature on either side of the pivot axis. Disposed between the free ends of the opposite pole members is a bar-shaped three-pole magnetized permanent magnet which is magnetized to have end poles of the same polarity at the longitudinal ends and a center pole of the opposite polarity intermediate the ends, producing first and second flux paths opposing to each other and extending between the respective end portions of the permanent magnet and the adjacent end portions of the armature. The center pole is offset from the pivot axis of the armature to provide at a correspondingly offset portion therefrom between the armature and the permanent magnet a common flux path through which the first and second flux paths extend in the same direction, whereby producing a torque on the armature tending it to rotate about the pivot axis toward the one of the two angularly displaced positions.

摘要： A polarized electromagnetic relay includes a flat-shaped armature pivotally supported at its center, an electromagnet with a pair of pole members extending toward the armature ends on either side of the center pivot axis, and a three-pole magnetized permanent magnet bridging between the pole members in generally parallel relation with the armature. A pair of movable contact springs extends along the lateral sides of the armature and joined at its center portion to the armature to be movable therewith. Integrally formed with each movable contact spring is a pivot arm which extends transversely from the center thereof and is fixedly secured to a relay casing. The pivot arm defines itself a resilient torsion element of limited deformability by which the armature is supported on the relay casing and is permitted to pivot about the center pivot axis for movement between the two angular positions.

摘要： An electromagnetic relay has a casing of electrically insulative material which is divided by an insulating partition into a coil space for receiving an electromagnet and a switching space for receiving a contact assembly. An armature is magnetically coupled to the electromagnet and is operatively connected to the contact assembly for switching contact operation thereof in response to energization of the electromagnet. The partition extends along the entire length of the electromagnet without leaving any communication path between the coil space and the switching space, such that the electromagnet in the coil space can be insulatively separated from the contact assembly in the switching space within the length of the electromagnet.

摘要： A vehicle door comprising a door section having a door panel and a window frame, wherein the door panel includes an inner housing extending between an exterior and an interior of the vehicle. A door glass is slidably mounted between the window frame and the inner housing. The door glass has an arcuate configuration when viewed in cross section in the direction of the length of the vehicle and defines a projected normal arc of curvature corresponding to the arcuate configuration of the door glass when the door glass is in a closed position. The projected normal arc of curvature extends downward from a closed position of the door glass. A guide channel is provided for guiding the door between the closed position and an open position. The guide channel defines an actual arc of curvature when viewed in cross section in the direction of the length of the vehicle, which is displaced radially inwardly from the normal arc of curvature. Therefore, the door glass is slidably positioned to be closer to the interior of the vehicle when slid to an open position along the guide channel than if it were slid along the projected normal arc of curvature.

Forward and rearward brackets are attached to the window frame and include weather seals extending between the bracket and the door glass. A housing supporting a mirror is mounted on the vehicle door and extends along the forward bracket. The housing is mounted so that the forward guide channels are positioned between the forward bracket and the mirror, in order to prevent an obstructed view of the mirror by a vehicle occupant.
