摘要: A wave-receiving piezoelectric device for use as, e.g., a hydrophone or a microphone, is constituted by a piezoelectric body having two surfaces sandwiching a thickness and including at least one surface provided with a recess (including a perforation communicating with the two surfaces) set in the thickness direction, and a rigid member having a contact surface and an outer surface opposite to the contact surface and disposed to cover said at least one surface with the contact surface so as to make the recess airtight. As a result, an acoustic pressure received by the outer surface is concentrated and applied onto said at least one surface of the piezoelectric body, thereby giving an improved wave-receiving sensitivity at an enhanced acoustic pressure.

摘要: A sheet-form piezoelectric device having improved mechanical strengths as represented by an electrode peel strength while retaining flexibility and piezoelectric performances of a polymer-type piezoelectric device, is obtained by embedding a perforated sheet electrode into at least one surface layer of a polymer piezoelectric film treated with a solvent in advance. The sheet-form piezoelectric device may be wound or curved about a certain central axis to provide a tubular or curved piezoelectric device having wave-transmitting and/or -receiving characteristics suitable for wave-transmitting and/or -receiving devices, such as a hydrophone and microphone.

摘要: A multi-chip linear image sensor for use in, for example, a facsimile machine or a photocopier comprises several chip image sensors, each including photosensors and an output amplifier. To correct for the offset error of the output amplifier caused by processing variations, each chip includes a circuit enabling the amplifier to be isolated, so that its output can be sampled independently of the image signal. To eliminate the offset error a correction circuit is provided as part of the video clamp circuit, for sampling the amplifier output and subtracting it from the subsequent image signals readout through the amplifier.

摘要: Disclosed is a parent material for wooden patterns which is made free of direction due to grain unlike in natural timber, stickiness caused by heat during cutting process unlike thermoplastic resin foam and micro-vibration due to foam, and which can prevent occurrence of distortion in the pattern made thereof, can afford so thick mold as more than 50 millimeter in spite of using wood flour as a base material and can be plated, and to provide a method of producing such a parent material. As base materials 50 to 70% by weight of 80 to 200 mesh wood flour and 30 to 50% by weight of a self-hardening resin constituted of a main resin, a hardening agent and an accelerator are used for kneading together and the mixture is subjected to molding under pressure at ordinary temperature so as to regulate water absorption to 3% or lower for every 24 hours for obtaining a product in specified size and in high density.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electrical protective circuit, used when abnormality occurs, in a vibration suppressing apparatus which changes the load torque on a generator such as an alternator fixed on the engine to generate an angle moment on the generator body to cancel rough idling engine vibrations to suppress vehicle body vibrations due to the rough idling. In the inventive vibration suppressing apparatus, a generator is fixed on the engine which generator includes a voltage regulator to control a field winding current such that a fixed voltage is output to a battery. The generation of engine rough idling is detected on the basis of either a change in the engine speed or a change in the engine vibrations. If rough idling is detected, a high voltage circuit is connected to the field winding to increase the field winding current and hence the load torque on the generator. In the inventive protective circuit, the battery voltage is compared with a predetermined reference value when no rough idling is detected. If the battery voltage exceeds the reference value, a changeover signal is generated and the high voltage circuit is disconnected from the field winding in response to the changeover signal.
