摘要： A vehicle instrument includes a mechanical meter which is attached to an instrument panel of a vehicle, and a projector which projects an image to be superimposed on an indication area of the mechanical meter. The projector projects a graphic image according to the type of display content. In the case where the display content is a warning, a warning image is superimposed on an indicator and the area surrounding the indicator of the mechanical meter. The projector can also superimpose an area image on the display area of the mechanical meter, the area image indicating a cost effective driving range according to a driving state of the vehicle.

摘要： An infrared sensor capable of more highly accurately correcting an electrical signal converted by a light receiving unit is provided. An infrared sensor (100) converts energy of infrared rays radiated from an object (for example, human body) to an electrical signal and outputs the electrical signal, the infrared sensor comprising: a light receiving unit (10) that includes a quantum type infrared detection element (11) and that converts the energy of the infrared rays to an electrical signal; and a correction unit (20) that corrects the output signal from the light receiving unit (10), wherein the light receiving unit (10) and the correction unit (20) are formed of the identical material on the identical substrate (1) and have the identical configuration so that the infrared rays enters in an identical manner.

摘要： When a vertical acceleration is applied to a vehicle, the foot of a vehicle operator placed on the accelerator pedal may apply an unintended force to the accelerator pedal owing to the shock of such accelerations and vibrations and/or the inertia force of the vehicle operator's foot applied to the accelerator pedal, and this may cause an inadvertent depressing or releasing of the accelerator pedal. To overcome this problem, an engine control unit (100) corrects the output signal of an accelerator pedal that governs the output of the engine according to the detected vertical acceleration of the vehicle so that the unintended change in the output of the engine which is caused by an external force applied to the accelerator pedal and may cause an unintended acceleration or deceleration of the engine can be canceled.
