摘要: A detergent composition contains a combination of two different surfactants, one micellar phase and one lamellar phase, at least one of the surfactants being a glycolipid biosurfactant. Preferred micellar phase biosurfactants are rhamnolipids, sophoroselipids and cellobioselipids, advantageously used in combination with non-glycolipid anionic or nonionic surfactants; while preferred lamellar biosurfactants are trehaloselipids, glucoselipids, and rhamnolipids, advantageously used in combination with micelar biosurfactants. The detergent compositions show enhanced oily soil detergency in fabric washing even when the glycolipid biosurfactants used individually are poor detergents.

摘要: The workpiece which is moved relative to the tool is processed by a tool configured in the form of a flexible membrane. On the rearward side of the membrane, loading units are arranged with the force of each unit being individually controlled. The pressure distribution exerted by the loading units on the workpiece is varied with time in dependence upon the position of the workpiece. With the method, large optical components such as telescope mirrors and grazing-incidence optical elements for x-ray telescopes can be polished more quickly than by the heretofore known methods. Also non-rotationally symmetrical defects of the surface can be eliminated. An apparatus for carrying out the method of the invention is disclosed.

摘要: A method and system for forming a planar cross-section view for an electron microscope. The method comprises directing an ion beam from an ion source toward a first surface of a sample to mill at least a portion of the sample; milling the first surface, using the ion beam, to expose a second surface in which the end of the second surface distal to the ion source is milled to a greater depth relative to a reference depth than the end of the first surface proximal to the ion source; directing an electron beam from an electron source to the second surface; and forming an image of the second surface by detecting the interaction of the electron beam with the second surface. Embodiments also include planarzing the first surface of the sample prior to forming a cross-section.

摘要: A circuit of a node in a radio network and method for transit time measurement between a first node and a second node of a radio network is provided. A frame is transmitted by the first node, wherein the frame requires an acknowledgment of reception by the second node. A first point in time of the transmission of the frame is established by the first node by a time counter. The frame is received by the second node at a second point in time. The acknowledgment is transmitted by the second node to the first node at a third point in time, wherein the third point in time depends on the second point in time by a predetermined time interval between the second point in time and the third point in time. A fourth point in time is established by the first node by the time counter when the acknowledgment is received. The transit time or the change in transit time is determined from the first point in time established by the time counter and from the established fourth point in time and from the predetermined time interval.

摘要: Apparatus and method, as may be used to acquire different components of solar irradiance in a solar-based power generation system or as may be used in a sky imager, are provided. A filter matrix (12) may be arranged to receive incident solar irradiance. The filter matrix may include an array of pixels (20) controllable to selectively acquire different components of the solar irradiance. A module, such as a photosensor (22) or calculator module (29) may be configured to determine a spatial location of at least one of the irradiance components relative to the array of pixels of the filter matrix. A controller (26) may be electrically coupled to the module to supply a control signal to the filter matrix based on the determined location of the irradiance component to pass a selected one of the irradiance components.
