    摘要: A constant-velocity fixed joint includes an outer joint part with ball raceways and an inner joint part with ball raceways which are separated by webs. A cage, which is disposed between the outer joint part and the inner joint part, has windows for holding balls. The inner joint part can be inserted into the cage only when at least one of its webs engages in a window in the cage. As a result of certain ratios of the raceway angle to the web angle, a high resistance to fracturing at large deflection angles is achieved and a weakening at the functional faces of the inner joint part is avoided. The large angle of wrap around the balls at the ends of the raceways is advantageous for the load bearing capacity of the raceways. Due to its simple form, the cage can be manufactured with a small thickness.

    摘要: A constant velocity universal joint for use with a propeller shaft which reduces its weight and size as well as facilitates assembling a stub shaft, thereby reducing the number of parts used and improving rotational balance. The universal joint, comprising: an outer ring with a cup-shaped enlarged diameter portion having track grooves formed on an inner peripheral surface and with a hollow reduced diameter portion integrated with the enlarged diameter portion; an inner ring having track grooves formed on an outer peripheral surface; balls, interposed between the track grooves of the inner and outer rings, for transmitting torque; a cage, accommodated in an annular space between the inner and outer rings, for holding the balls. The universal joint makes possible to form a unit provided with a stub shaft, having a shaft portion inserted from an open end portion of the enlarged diameter portion of the outer ring to mate with the inner ring to enable torque transmission and having an enlarged diameter portion on an end portion extending from the shaft portion, and provided with a boot, attached to the open end portion of the enlarged diameter portion of the outer ring and the shaft portion of the stub shaft, for sealing the joint.

The inner part 5 is connected to a plunging journal 15 associated with a plunging unit of a connecting shaft 3.     摘要: A constant velocity universal joint has an outer part (1), an inner part (12) arranged in the outer part (1), and a cage (24) for guiding balls (23) each accommodated in an inner track (14) and an outer track (3). A control element (29) is arranged between the inner part (12) and a first attaching element (5) associated with the outer part (1). A second attaching part (18) is associated with the inner part (12). The second attaching element (18) is provided in the form of a tubular shaft. The invention provides advantageous lubrication conditions for the parts sliding on one another, i.e. the control face (17) and seat face (31) of the control element (29) on the one hand and the sliding face (10) as well as the contact face (30) of the control element (29) contacting the sliding face (10) on the other hand. Two chambers (9, 20) which accommodate lubricant and communicate with one another through an aperture (32) are provided. The chamber (20) is provided in the second attaching element by being separated from the remaining interior (22) by a separating element (21). In this way, an adequate lubricant reservoir is made available for the faces which slide on one another, the reservoir extending over the service life of the joint. The lubricant cannot escape outwardly when the joint rotates.

    摘要: A rotational fixed connection has a shaft whose axial end is provided with outer shaft teeth and a hub whose through-bore is provided with inner teeth. The connection is useful between a driveshaft in the driveline of a motor vehicle and a joint hub of a universal tripod joint or a constant velocity universal ball joint. The joints include the hub, torque transmitting roller elements, and an outer joint part. The outer shaft teeth of the shaft, at a distance from the hub teeth end at the shaft shank end, run out steplessly into the shaft shank. The outer shaft teeth end inside the hub with a stepped end. In the region following the outer shaft teeth, the shaft includes a tooth-free end portion. The tooth-free end portion carries or forms fixing elements which axially securingly rest against a hub end face at the end where the shaft terminates. The inner shaft teeth of the hub, at the end where the shaft terminates, includes a deformed portion which rests axially securingly against the end of the outer shaft teeth and prevents engagement therewith.

The inner tracks (16, 17) are worked into the outer face (19) of an outer joint member (11) which carries a flange (12). The outer ball running grooves (30), formed into the outer joint member (11), are arranged opposite inner running grooves (35) of an inner joint member (34). The grooves, together with a cage (36) and guide balls (37), transmit torque. The inner joint member (34) is pivotable around the joint center (42) relative to the outer joint member (11). The central bearing plane (24) is offset from the joint center (42) by a distance sufficient to achieve the smallest possible rolling circle diameter. This leads to a lightweight unit which additionally ensures that during the transmission of torque, the joint does not adversely affect the bearing in the wheel carrier (10).

    摘要: A constant velocity joint has an outer part (1) with outer running grooves provided in its inner face (2) and extending in meridian planes with reference to the longitudinal axis (4) of the outer part. An inner part (6) is arranged in the inner chamber (5) of the outer part (1). Inner running grooves (13) are arranged in the inner part outer face (10). The inner running grooves (13) are arranged opposite the outer running grooves forming pairs which jointly accommodate balls (31) for torque transmitting purposes. The balls (31) are guided by a cage (24). The inner part (6) includes inner running grooves (13) which are all shortened and are only long enough to provide a maximum travel (18) covered by the balls (31) in the inner running grooves (13) from one extreme position to the other, plus an additional safety length (19) which is provided for strength reasons. A groove portion (14, 15) follows at least one end of the inner running grooves (13). The groove portion (14, 15) has a cross-section which is extended relative to that of the inner running grooves (13). This design improves the possibilities for using non-chip-producing forming methods because the percentage of surfaces to be stamped during the forming process to achieve dimensional accuracy is reduced considerably. The material is able to flow more easily. Furthermore, a channel (32) is provided in each of the inner running grooves (13). Apart from an improved dimensional accuracy, the required forming forces are reduced considerably.
